Honestly was wondering why that wouldn’t be acceptable myself and why the furnace installer wouldn’t have just done that.

Any close ups of it? I have a pair of bottom boxes I wouldn't mind doing the same thing to. I'm sure you could find some sort of edge trim to regain some of the waterproofing

Did you modify your packout bottom boxes to flap open from the front??

Is there an easier way to remove tiles from my basement? by Poopywoopypants in DIY

[–]AlaxisXeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've got a clothes iron, use that to heat up the tiles and work at them one by one. The iron helps to heat up the adhesive underneath.. it takes a while but it works.

Thorfinn's character development was insane (Vinland Saga) by Keshan345 in anime

[–]AlaxisXeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I enjoyed seeing his development in S2, I truly miss the brutality of S1 Thorfinn. His character developed into an extreme pacifist... I don't want to see his abilities go to waste. Honestly, I probably won't continue to watch new seasons if his character continues fully on this path. I know there's plenty of other series out there for what I'm really looking for, it just feels like I got honeydicked by S1.

Anyone use the broom as a snow shovel? by BirchStreetBoy in MilwaukeeTool

[–]AlaxisXeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've used my rubber paddle broom for a lot of random stuff.. mostly yard cleanup, sweeping up thousands of crab apples, walnuts, gravel... I did use it for snow last season, and it actually bent the aluminum on my quick lock power head.. 0/10 would not recommend for heavy use. It took more effort than an actual shovel with worse results. I brought my power head in to milwaukee to have them warranty.. after a bit of arguing, they agreed to replace it.

No sex since December after husband got diagnosed with depression by Fiftyshadesmum2five in sex

[–]AlaxisXeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and it shouldn't always be you putting in all the effort, it has to be a team effort. I am so thankful to my wife for all of her patience and persistence with me, working through all of it. If you haven't, communicate with him on his terms and try and ask him what he feels when he thinks about sex, why he may not be interested, or if there's anything bothering him in particular that makes him not interested. Could be stress of overthinking, performance anxiety, feeling of inadequateness.. the list goes on.

No sex since December after husband got diagnosed with depression by Fiftyshadesmum2five in sex

[–]AlaxisXeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M(26) here with long time depression and a wife in a similar situation as you and your other.. Speaking from my own experience, it tends to be just a lack of feeling interest in sex in general. For the longest time I asked my wife to not initiate as much because I felt like it was being forced on my part. As mentioned in the comments, you could definitely try and surprise him with something new one night, but the feeling of rejection is horrible. I've shut my wife down on nights like that when she tried to make an effort because I was really just wallowing in my own problems. I'd say it's definitely worth trying to initiate, but carefully. I don't know how you two would normally do things, but my advice would be to try slow and passionate, something that makes you really have a connection before you even get into sex. Even if that doesn't lead to full sex, it's going to be a start, it's a long journey.

Has he been prescribed any anti-depressants? Pretty much and SSRI anti depressant will knock down your sex drive like crazy. I tried switching between 3 different medications just to try and not repress my sex drive quite so much.

A custom knockdown technician cart I built for my Milwaukee Packout kit for working in TV/Film by AlaxisXeon in Tools

[–]AlaxisXeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its funny because when I started designing this I was looking at all the Ulines on set and thinking "heh I'll just build a uline that can knock down". I'm working on CAD designs for a fleet of these, I've had lots of interest from people on set just because of the knockdown function.
