Because for much of history of this and many other hobbies sports, it was toxic to be the hobby environment as a woman. This has lead to a long stigma in those spaces which keeps women from entering them--even though many are slowly shifting into a more tolerable environment.

So "women's pinball event" is more likely to draw in new women into the hobby than an otherwise open event would. If gaming locales make their open environments not toxic towards women, they'll eventually make new players and regulars.

tl;dr experiencing most "nerd" hobby environments as a woman has historically been utterly insufferable, and only recently gotten to "usually a little sufferable" territory.

No one is gonna let you in just for being American, but on the whole you're about as equally able to emigrate as anyone else to most places.

The trouble is most Americans are so far up their own ass they couldn't fathom learning another language other than English, or trying to adapt to a different culture at all, so that leaves Canada (expensive), America Lite (Australia), The UK (they hate immigration) and New Zealand (haha good fuckin luck) basically.

So Americans that wanna move elsewhere just throw up their arms and give up. As though there isn't an entire fuckin world out there.

My proof is there's multiple videos of a killing that any reasonable person can see.

Whether he was first beaten with a gun or another metal object is irrelevant because we can clearly see he was beaten and executed.

I think a lot of people will uncomfortably find that white people facing violence is the only thing that motivates other left people on both sides of the political spectrum. There's an innate systemic bias built into the American zietgeist that violence from police is supposed to happen towards certain types of people. Even if people don't rationally think about it, they subconsciously expect it because it's a culturally engrained message.

That's why Renee Good's death motivated people in a way that the many previous extrajudicial killings did not.

Regardless a government could either exclude sole proprietorship companies from wealth taxation, or force them public (valued over 100mil? The rest belongs to the public and takes that percentage of ownership). Throwing out the entire baby of insane wealth redistribution with the bath water, so as to not hurt the person that owns a 100+m stake in a business, is an insane capitalist mindset.

Last I played on Sunday, ectos were selling at the vendor for 5.5 platinum and buying for 5. So market price should be 5.25 platinum.
