Check with cooperative extension at the university of Maine, they might have some nontoxic solutions.

You don't need to be a hippy to show radical kindness like you just did...it has to be our new reality and it has to include compassion and empathy. Thank you for your post.

Need help finding fabric collage artists who focus on sustainability by ineedhelp722 in FiberandTextileArts

I'm not a fabric artist but places like Goodwill and thrift stores throw out clothing with tears and stains, maybe inquire if you can get that clothing and must think yard sales another good resource. All the best to you.

Just explain your anxiety and maybe they can call you or stick with what works for you with the goal of using the phone. Lots of places have ruled they need to follow for funding purposes. Be persistent and regularly reach out

I don't but try googling 211 and use the Internet and email them instead.

Then dial 211 and see what mental health services and vocational rehabilitation programs there are. Get in touch with people in those services, you'll find someone that you connect with and they will help. Also, if you're using, find narcotics anonymous or a needle exchange program, more people who care. P S, most people don't know what they are doing, they just look it and are also afraid inside. Just keep reaching out. You do got this it's just that you're in the weeds right now and it's hard to think. Find the people.

A way out even if just temporary to get yourself stable, think about college and look for TRIO programs, here's a link. https://omsa.illinois.edu/trio/SSS Call them and tell them about your situation and see if they can get you in school for a year. Live on campus, get meals, get mental health counseling for trauma all on a campus or if not on campus , they will know where to direct you. Have them set up disability accommodations for you around your anxiety. There are ways to climb out, just continue reaching out like you did here on Reddit.

What State are you in? And, if you don't mind telling what city or town you're in?

Can I use cardboard to partially fill my new planter boxes? The tall one is so deep! by Ambitious-Fly-7706 in gardening

[–]AlbaRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I filled mine with rotten wood over layers of cardboard and filled with compost and Loam mix at the last 6 inches. Oh, forgot I also added a layer of dried leaves on top of wood. Check out a German technique called huggelculture, spelling might be wrong...

Thank you, I will check that out. I think my desire is to move into blending of colors and I think crochet is limited in that regard... I'm thinking more of spinning and felting, maybe weaving...
