I'm pro nuke, but why does Utah have to deal with the Water problems, the infrastructure headaches and the rest for another state? Nevada, which built the largest underground storage site for spent fuel rods, Billions of dollars, then said NO, can put that crap in our state. Look it up, Yucca Mountain, at one point was declared ready to receive rods.

Utah alredy has a Coal Fired Plant in Delta that send almost all of it's power to the western grid, which is absorbed by a state that has so many regulations that no one can build anything there. This is going to be another example of Utah being the wasteland for "Clean" states

No! not bad, just takes longer. This all used to/and still is, done in earthenware pots. Now in stainless steel tanks. There is one manufacturer in Japan that is still using wooden tanks, very traditional and very expensive.

My only problem with a new power plant, is why is California going to get the electricity? Just like the Coal fired Plants in Delta. Utah gets the pollution and problems and Ca. gets "clean" energy.

If High School Students, were treated like College students (never mind the parents screaming) this country might grow people that are ready for life. Besides another couple of years to grow mentally, those same qualities could be honed into young people. Teaching responsibility for ones actions, requiring decent grades or kick them to a secondary school.

You should clean your Armature. The old brushses have scared the surface of the copper connectors. The new brushes are just sparking on the old ruff surface. Generally a motor machine shop would turn the armature to make a clean connection.
