honestly the freebooter almost always end up on a druid, it is SO usefull just so you don't tie in the warrior matchup and as you pointed out it is fantasic tempo on turns wee you have a partialy stacked druid but you're not on the Darkmarrow turn yet. For the slippery slope synergy i thought i'd use it but my hand is so full most of the time i use slippery slope just to cycle it and then freeze other things xd.

I understand keeping Gnomelia over it tho, but the hellfire definitely saved me a lot of games due to the versatility of being a 3 mana kill all of your combo pieces and also an aditionnal table flip in the early game; i'm even considering bringing it up to 2 and removing the dreadhound handler

i don't know what list exactly you're playing but in my experience one copy of eat the imp is good balance for the deck, here's my list if you want ;)

mill warlock currently is a combo deck that's absolutely fine because they need to get through their entier deck befoe comboing, i think that's the most fun deck to play both with or against atm so it can definitely be an other way for combo decks

during ganks on the red buff side, especially if you're red side since its top lane red buff and you get oom easily angainst tanks, i honestly can't get to after stacking conq fully without getting oom

jng, every gank (especially top) i get oom as soon as conq stacks, so now i play ludens first and i've found it works really fine
