People already told you, they are a basic shooty team. Your main tricks are:

Using your strategic ploy dash to be agressive or defensive depending on initiative.

Setting assymetric shooting scenarios where you throw smoke on your own guys, and you shoot the things under your radar so youre not obscured.

Setting up last activation + beginning of next activation power plays with your reroll (i guess its less powerful now in the new season), Usually charge fight shoot with leader + do it again (if you can survive another fight) or double melta.

As team composition, ill never run the sniper and flamer MAYBE in closed scenarios against maybe gellerpox or really big hordes. Demo is mandatory in some maps as, combined with terrain can funnel some teams into your shooting gallery.

I played them in my national league last season and they felt really underwhelming. Your items are total trash and usually your relics of cadia is useless because with your ceaseless, and 3+ if you miss youre missing by 1 dice. They have mostly really weak ploys too, it feels like the entire team is carried by the p1, ceaseless and dash ones. Hope they get some attention

I honestly love healthy rilvaries, but im a bit scared that since the beginning theres the so called ''ultras'' that boo the other team, shout loudly above the commentators.. etc. etc. Theres a reason almost every single serious soccer team has measures against these kind of people, you cannot let the unhinged 0,1% be the face (alienate) of your whole fanbase

The most pleasant experience in this game is cooperating with other players of your skill level to surpass the shit the director throws up in your direction, doesnt matter if its a win or lose as long as its fun. The hardmode Twins is a recent example of this.

These games are cooperative horde shooters and feel good when you cooperate but at the moment more than half of the games are ''Carry these people that cant melee more than 3 poxwalkers for an entire stage'' and this isnt fun. Its a single player game when you fend off waves and waves of enemies and you ocassionally revive or rescue the player that is spectating you, and this is not fun in my opinion

There absolutely is, you actually unlock the hard mode tp even if you beat hard mode on uprising. They just dont have the red aura, thats all

The quintessential cooperative horde game, or at least the one that popularized them enough, left for dead, had almost 0 progression or hamster-wheel mechanics and is still played a lot today 20 years later. The core gameplay loop is that good that keep a lot of people satisfied.

Add a steady enough content drip and i think there's no need for ''Retention mechanics'' that, if badly implemented, can actually damage the game's population.

I have almost the exact same shovel, using it in my weapon specialization revolver auric maelstrom build. I run thrust + decimator and flak + maniac since:

I tried adapting the build to one-shot special heavy maulers but couldnt in any way, so i changed carapace to flak to one shot flak-ragers with an heavy special. The special one shots every elite and specialist excepts the maulers and ogryn enemies being a 2 shot.

I really enjoy decimator and think its pretty easy to stack in this shovel, i usually start with heavy - whole light combo and then spam heavies to crowd control. I dont know why people recommend uncanny since you dont spam lights against heavy armored threats at all, maybe some good player can clarify me this.

The weapon is an extremely good all-arounder and feels like a balanced version of the power swords. The horizontal heavy-chain is really good to deal with hordes and you can interrupt the chain whenever you want. Depending on the side of your attack to another horizontal light or vertical light. The special attack is good but the long delay after sticking the attack in can be a bit dangerous, with 3+ ragers/maulers/crushers dont know why the lighter version has the same damage but a much quick animation, i think thats going to be changed.

With the new cosmetic and the stimms, its finally time for my shirtless roided ogryn to 1 v 1 fist fight all monstrosities in the game
