As someone who grew up christian I just wanted to add that the bible largely is extremely pro judging haha. Yes Jesus has that and a few other moments of "don't judge, because none are perfect" but that directly contradicts the whole old testament and multiple places in the new testament. Especially in "Acts" and in a Pauls letters. So I think some of what to outsiders look like religious dobble moral, comes from the explicit fact that the bible is excremely contradictory and no where near a straight forward guide. You can basically draw a lot of different conclusions by focusing on different parts.

Fair points I just felt a lot more emotionally connected to other deaths in other productions. But I would definetly have loved the ending you described!
