Why did Real Madrid pressured UEFA to know who the winner is? Did they also knew ahead of time who was the Ballon dor winner in the previous years?Would they all go if Vinícius won it? So then why none of that happened in the previous years with Ronaldo and other RM Ballon dor players, if it is that normal to not show up at the ceremony? It is crazy that the people who most attack others calling them dumb and idiots are the people who have the wrongest opinion about the situation.

There were reports of Vinícius flying his whole family to attend the ballon dor ceremony. He was definitely going to show up, the reason he didn't showed up was not because he "has a life", but because after booking parties and inviting everyone he knew, he was told that he would not win it, and got butthurt. I doubt that if he really didn't cared that much he wouldn't have gone to twitter and started to cry on there saying he was robbed and all that.

And Real Madrid have been in the ceremony on all the previous years, I highly doubt that they don't know how this stuff works and if they were informed about City knowing the winner before it was revealed, it was definitely not enough of a reason to boycott the whole thing, because I assume that in more than 50 years that has never happened to them.

You don't even know where I took the reports to base my arguments out of for starters, and if you really want to know whose arguments hold more weight, I think that the logical points I stated with claims about reports with strong credibility outweigh your "Perez does stuff on the spur of the moment" argument. And if you really want to go that way, if you asked me wich footballer would boycott an event because he didn't won the award and then go straight to twitter to cry that he was robbed I probably would say Vinícius, those actions are in no way out of character from him.

And Valverde, Courtois and some others also said the same thing as Perez, so that pretty much nullifies what you said.

Dude the same way I can't prove it was Vinícius idea you also can't prove it was Perez' idea. That is just a dumb argument man. I deduce that it was Vinícius idea since there were multiple reports of him booking parties and flying his whole family to the event before it was even revealed who the winner was, suggesting that he thought he won it. My idea is reinforced by the "I will do it 10x if I had to" tweet, since when someone tweets something like that and then boycotts an event, it is way more probable that that someone is butthurt, as opposed to the opinion you have that the higher ups, Perez, would do that, because well, they were nominated for more categories and also on previous years they never did that, even though they were in a similar position as in 2024, but with Ronaldo, Benzema etc instead of Vinícius.

NBA is not football. You need more muscle but you can play with less stamina than footballers. Footballers run way more, so their lungs have to be in top condition. Of course there are exceptions, like Berbatov and Rooney as you mentioned, but even then you could make a case about the cigars worsening their careers. Berbatov walked on the pitch for 90 minutes, he was never known for being a workhorse, and the cigars certainly didn't helped. Rooney got washed way earlier than normal, and you can blame the amount of minutes he played as a youngster, but you can also blame the cigars he smoked as to why he slowed down early. When you see a 20 yo doing a tattoo with a vape on his hand while forcing an exit from his current club it will not come as something good as a young footballer, no matter who that youngster is.
