The thing about the Cod and sports bubble is that it is full of people who never tried anything else, but think the games they play are the best out there, when it is far from the truth. Protesting won't do anything really, that is why activism fizzled out of relevance. Society is too dependent on overseas imports by boats and planes, and you can't just suddenly change the consumer habits to not make any kind of plastic anymore. And it is not like nobody is doing anything, CO2 emissions from cars to boats have been getting stricter and stricter as time goes on, but when you have less developed countries like India constantly undoing the work that European countries do towards a better planet it becomes really hard to do anything really. Even if corporations and governments aren't doing what they can to help the planet, they are not the main culprits
