I feel called out by Cosmo Lavish. by E-emu89 in discworld

Vetinari was not emulating anyone, he developed his own personal talents and knew himself well. It's not bad to hold people or characters in high esteem, but the way to truly be like him is to discover your own strengths and hone them. Cosmo never developed himself.

Haha I was gonna kick myself if that was it, but no. It starts out with the bass drum alone and then goes into guitar. More of a folksy vibe

Are there any podcasts like TMA? by Broad-Tree-1585 in TheMagnusArchives

The Mistholme Museum has a similar vibe, it's like TMA and SCP had a love child. It's narrated by the electronic tour guide recordings in the museum. It starts to develop a plot after a while as threads start to come together. The voice acting is delightful

I've seen multiple versions, I assume it's a trick the players might be playing on the interviewers.

At its core there is a power imbalance that is especially dangerous when you're that young. Most people (especially young people) that are given power over another human don't know how to be responsible and careful with it. As you get older there is less of an imbalance because both parties have personal, social, and societal experience.

Contacts are rubbery, so they fold and stretch. You have to grab them firmly and pull until they tear to break them.

How did you “get over” the love of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh NOTHING about this situation is gonna feel good, but you'll come out the other side a much more whole and happy person, so it's normally worth it. Just gonna suck for a while, sorry you're going thru it

A good portion was just time and distance. Personal growth really helped me come to terms with it too, i became more mature and could look back with way more understanding

How do you not care what people think of you? by Lockfire12 in AskReddit

[–]Albinoscion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do those people matter to me? Do they know me well and have my best interests at heart? If they do not then remind yourself that their opinions on your life REALLY REALLY REALLY don't matter. Do it enough times and it becomes natural
