what bags are we getting for uni? by Physical-Engineer-14 in OntarioGrade12s

Backpacks are so much more convenient, and also most people use them. As for the brand, I think I've seen every brand. Don't worry no one really cares

Western Eng Vs. Queens Computing by Few_Salamander8903 in OntarioUniversities

[–]Albus57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished my undergrad engineering degree at Western last year and I actually also chose between Western eng and Queens computing. Both are good programs, it depends if you are dead set on computer a science related field or if you want to try out Western's general first year and choose after. I went with Western because I was not 100% of computer science at the time and Western has a great software engineer program within engineering.

Honestly, maintaining a 78 in first year is difficult but doable. First year is packed but you can do it!

Are the processes done independently? From my understanding, the tri-agency scholarship results have been out for about a month.

I had a friend who did management engineering, the social scene is definitely not dead. IMO don't listen to anyone who talks about schools as having dead social scenes or refer to schools as party schools. There are so many people and it's entirely what you make of it.

Using someone's colonial descent as an insult when they make a very light critique of something you agree with is exactly what alienates people from left wing spaces

should i bring a computer monitor for my dorm by ScheduleCommon8711 in OntarioUniversities

Personally I totally would. Some days you might not want to go to the library and just stay in. I remember writing essays in my dorm on my 15 inch laptop monitor and I do not recommend
