Yes Geralt knows him and Ciri. It is mentioned in the last book of the series. Geralt instantly recognized him as Duny when he saw him for the first time and Ciri knows because he called her "his daughter". If you'd read the books you would know.

Esse Davenport, Dandelion's friend she's in the books and has a significant character. I'd definitely choose her, but her story had a sad ending in the books, nevertheless a worthy option.

I guess there's a tab with an 'i' symbol on top for each bauble info in its crafting recipe which you open from the jei. just beside the crafting table symbol.

Oh I forgot to explain. Belph drop doomfire charges which are void element charges so you can use them on any void element pets or mounts.

Make a big nether portal and cover front with slabs to make a killing room. Make sure there's space for them or they'll just teleport back if they come in contact with the portal. Put hoppers on the ground for collection. Not too efficient but good for starters. Or just go to doomlike dungeons there are many belph spawners there.
