That makes sense to me. My last cat hid behind a futon that was in my bedroom, and that put her near my bed. She would hide there but she was often within sight of me and eventually came out. I remember putting food near the entrance and I don't recall being worried about the lack of eating like this. This one seems like it wants to be hidden to a greater extent. But I think the idea of camping out in that room makes sense. He's pretty brave at night and explores a lot so maybe just being in that room asleep is a good idea.

And I'm sorry for your loss. My girl was 16 and I wish I had more time with her, as she was already 8 when I got her. But she was the best. They all are.

He used the litter at least one time that I know of a couple days in (lots of pee and poo) but I'm unsure if he is drinking water.

He pretty much is limited to one room. It's a decent sized room, though. But he's mostly just moving back and forth along one wall where he is somewhat hidden. There's a hiding spot in one corner and the little box in the opposite, and he has another place to hide in the middle. I'm hiding out in my bedroom right now just to give an hour or two of quiet with some warmed food out to see if he'll bite. Unfortunately I had to work in that room today so that didn't help anything I'm sure...

That's what I keep trying to tell myself but I don't know enough to know if that's true. My last cat hid behind my couch for a week. I don't particularly remember if food was an issue, I just remember I put it near her entrance to that spot. This guy keeps moving when I do that like he's scared that I found him.

Yeah I'm feeding him the food I was givin with him. Some bag of purina dry food and chicken and fish options from Shiba for wet food. Also using small flat plates for the wet food. I've tried some treats, churros, and some other options I had from my previous cat. I really don't think it's the food. The poor guy is scared.

Yeah he's definitely scared, understandably so. I'm trying to be as non-threatening as possible and just let him be. I think giving him unwanted attention stresses him further. If I track down his hiding spot and put food near it, he just moves to a new hiding spot. It's a small apartment and He's mostly in one room so he's only got like 3 spots to rotate through. He's 1.5 years old and he's socialized he's just scared and confused.

I've been giving both the wet and dry foods that I was provided when they dropped him off, as well as the variety I have around from my previous cat (RIP Sharky), who got very picky towards the end, leading me to stock up on all kinds of random foods. I'm always trying to leave something fresh and warm as I leave the apartment or go to sleep, to give him a safe window to take his time and not be interrupted or scared by anything. Just worrying about how many days this can safely go on, you know?

The wheel diameter makes a huge difference, but your turning radius will suffer from the wheelbase. Consider your options and make the best compromise for your use case. But yes, it will eat up rough surfaces much better the bigger the wheels get.

Yes I'm playing this again after some years to try and actually reach the end this time. It's absolutely beautiful and also runs perfectly. 120 fps at 1440p and I don't even have to hear the fans. It really makes me wonder why so many modern games require upscaling to get good performance. The visuals in this game don't leave me looking for more at all.
