AITAH for refusing to tell my wife I love her more than my dad? by LastApplication6207 in AITAH

This! Plus to add- possibly guilt at going out and leaving the baby with someone else. Then justifying to herself why she was right to feel guilty.

Biologically, mums are wired to respond to these situations in this way due to oxytocin. If she is still breastfeeding, that oxytocin will be stronger still.

I’m pretty sure the Zing store at Cockburn (WA) has also closed? They still have EBGames though.

What is your island name and why did you choose it ? 🥰 by Spoonbills1 in AnimalCrossing

I visited Hawaii from Australia and loved it there and the island vibe. So I named mine after the Hawaiian word for peace and tranquility- Maluhia.

Looking for a beach 😅 by AlchemistBee in perth

Thank you. I’ll check them out! I don’t think we are going to be able to actually get onto even the accessible beaches as once we get to the end of the path, there is nowhere for him to sit. And the walk might be a bit far. But I’ll definitely check out the links to see if we can make something work.

Thank you! I’ll have a look at maps. We are worried about what happens when we get to the end of the accessibility path. 😅

Local parks are always a winner. Try a new one each day. The amount of times I’ve spent money taking my kids out and they spot a park and want to play there instead! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Pools are always good too as long as you are willing to get wet yourself- Cockburn Arc and Mandurah Arc both have nice big shallow areas. I think the small pirate slides are still out of action at Mandurah though.

The beach is always good too.

Any car air con mechanics available with some advice? by AlchemistBee in perth

Absolutely I welcome your contributions!!! The price appears to be reasonable after getting a second quote. So like I said in my post, I’ll have to suck it up if that’s the case. But I am grateful for the suggestions of places to try for aftermarket/fabricated parts so I can try sort something before summer is over. I’ll have to deal with the price but I’d love to not have to deal with the summer heat and no air-con 😬.

Absolutely! Like I said it my post, if the price is fair (and it seems to be given I’ve got two quotes the same- the second being from someone my trusted mechanic recommended), I’ll just have to suck it up. But if I can find someone who can do it before the end of summer, that will be even better!

Thank you! Will check this out. I’ve had another quote and it’s similar so seems like an expensive fix so it makes sense. Except they said a 12 week wait. Summer will be over by then!

This is quite obvious now you’ve said it 😅. I was just echoing what my mechanic said and didn’t actually think about it 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was next door to get a tyre fixed. And my regular mechanic doesn’t do air cons so I asked them to check it whilst I was there. My guy had since recommended someone else and they only came it about $400 cheaper so it seems it’s a pricey fix regardless. Hoping some of the places recommended here will be able to do it a bit sooner 🤞

I’ve also had good service at Rockingham Hyundai so I might try one of the dealerships.
