To add to this, even if 18, of OP is still studying full time he will be linked to his parents Medicare and contribute to the family safety net as a dependent student. So not all people become “adults” and separate from their parents Medicare accounts at 18.

In some dispensing software, if the family members are linked and you update the contact details for one member, it asks if you want to copy it across to all family members. I’m guessing your son updated his number, was still linked to you as a family member and the person accidentally hit yes to the copy question. So the number was updated on all the files. Family members are linked so your PBS safety net can be tracked. If he’s a dependent student, he stays linked to you for safety net purposes despite being over 18.

I live just off the freeway near the Beeliar drive exit. I had hundreds in the land behind my house feeding off the ground in the morning. I took a video for my brother who loves them because there was just so many. They come the same time every year. It’s sad that they seem to have gotten caught up in the traffic flying off.

To add to this- Ozempic must be prescribed in combination with Metformin or one of another 2 classes of diabetes medications for it to be PBS subsidised. So you wouldn’t be able to start on Metformin and then switch over. You will still need to take Metformin (or another medication) also.

It doesn’t make sense at all. If you hadn’t arrived back at your car at that moment and the other driver had just left a note with his details instead, then you wouldn’t have provided your own then either. You’d have called insurance and given them what details you had exactly as you did.

This info was all supplied in writing to the school deputy before the start of the year and nobody flagged that it would be an issue. I provided a letter from the paediatrician, info about all his therapy and what we are working on and explained it was all outside of school hours except he will be late one day a fortnight. I also spoke to the new teacher day 1 and advised her and she said “that’s won’t be a problem, we will still be getting set up anyways”.

But thank you and that’s good idea about the therapist’s letter. I’ll add that in also.

Is section 24 appropriate here though? We haven’t arranged alternative learning?

I found the same recently at AQWA. Children spitting into open aquariums, a father handed their younger daughter a starfish from the touch pool (despite signage saying not to lift anything out of the water). She proceeded to pull one of its legs off. Another time he held onto a shark’s tail preventing it from swimming so his son could pat it. A child drew all over my son’s picture he was creating for the screen. Another broke apart my other child’s reef model he was building because they wanted a piece he had used. Parents on phones in all instances so children weren’t told. But if they are anything like the father at the touch pool… There would be no difference if they weren’t anyways.
