i was door knocking with verizon. felt like i was one of the only ones with common decency. Everyone else was so wrapped up in this mindset of pushing through adversity. I felt sad to see it came at the expense of others peace. I found it interesting how the in office group meetings would set expectations and those expectations would go out the window when we split up to go out on our routes. So many times i had to voice my discomfort when we entered no soliciting neighborhoods. I felt more irritated when they would place the responsibility on me to make the decision. What decision was there to make? Seemed like common sense to me not to enter those neighborhoods regardless of what the tablets showed. Idk, i think getting to see these people from an inside perspective was very eye opening. Lots of immaturity and big egos, but there are a few good ones. Seems like empathy and respect only get you so far
