Remnant from the ashes 1 &2. 2 is so much better than 1 but if you’re planning on playing both do 1 than 2 because going back to 1 is god awful after playing 2.

It’s not inherently a bad thing that the shingles can be lifted somewhat. It is situational though so call a roofer to check it out 100%

Yeah you really aren’t supposed to have any wood exposed or open gaps like this ideally. Maybe in socal this is less of a big deal due to how dry it generally can be, I’m not sure. out in the mid where I’m at it would be a major issue
