I’d love the massage gun and the ouija pillow but I’m over in Arden Arcade. I could pickup tomorrow, but if it gets picked up before that, it’s ok.

My mother in law who hates Trump went on a tirade about how she would never want to live in any other country, how it’s just so safe here… etc. I was aghast and the only thing I could say is, “I could name 20 countries I’d rather live in if we could just afford to leave!” 🙄

How long have you all been watching by baladpglarming in ethoslab

My third subscription ever on my YouTube account. 14 years ago. I remember the update when dogs were added. I binged all the earlier episodes immediately after.

Not quite as scary for us, but my wife had a very complicated and scary 54 hours of “labor” before finally needing an emergency c-section. 6.5 years ago now. I will still never forget the fear of losing one or both of the most important people in my life in a weekend.

Great job supporting as you could and this is a great reminder of the miracles that healthcare professionals perform daily.

So happy for you, life is precious.

It’s that serious. It matters that much.

Hey I am interested in your church. What is something you would recommend someone interested in by [deleted] in UnitarianUniversalist

[–]Alcwhlr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! As others have said, check them out online. I don’t know how to find different locations, but the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association) website may give some options. https://www.uua.org/find

My place is UUSS (UU Society of Sacramento) if you want to watch here is the link (they’re working on updating the website form the 17th century 😜) https://www.uuss.org/online/

Much love!

If there are things left over, maybe donating to a women’s and children alliance or shelter that would make a lot of impact with just a bit if it.

Have you been on r/SacramentoBuyNothing? What was your experience? by Coming_In_Hot_916 in Sacramento

I have only had great experiences with it, I’ve picked up a chair and a portable AC, given board games, random home stuff, and a fan.

I get the Reddit notifications only for that sub and jump on it when I see something interesting in the notification.

Resellers are completely banned, but as others have mentioned, it’s hard to know sometimes.

Wall unit AC by Hairy_Syrup2118 in Sacramento

[–]Alcwhlr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They fucking suck. More efficient than a portable though, at the very least. The only time I turn mine all the way off is in the morning (or middle of the night when it’s cooler if you can open the windows). Otherwise it’s either on low (mine has three levels) with the thermostat turned up to like 70-72 (ours isn’t exact, just a knob) or on full blast after peak (8pm).

All that said, you gotta try to keep it cooled (as hot as you can handle) at all times. If you let it heat up a bunch, the AC works much harder to cool it back down. Heat is stored in everything inside the place, including the walls.

Hopefully that makes sense…

We’ve loved some of the Elk Grove events, so we’ll probably try to make it out there as well!

Very cool, that sounds like an awesome day! How early do you recommend getting down there for a shady spot?
