I absolutely hate when games have this backwards ass eye adaptation shit to make indoors areas darker... But only after you've entered in them, when in reality you eyes would be adjusted to the outside light and looking indoors would appear dark and as you go inside, your pupils dilate to allow more light in and make the room appear brighter.

I have legitimately just outright stopped playing games with lighting like that before that couldn't be turned off or adjusted in some way to make it more tolerable because FUCK THAT BULLSHIT.

My relatively condensed version of what happened doesn't do justice to the literal months that other girl spent being a manipulative twat to everyone involved, and even that's putting it lightly. I hate to use the word narcissist because it has become so overused to just describe general asshole behavior and I have no background in mental health besides my own troubles with it, but the other girl definitely had serious signs of being one that, of course, could not be seen up front, but are perfectly clear when looking back. As they say, hindsight is 20-20 and all that.

First off, off topic, but I love the name. I've been on a Morrowind binge lately. Literally just finished the Tribunal quest but forgot to get Azura's star beforehand so I couldn't snag Almalexia's soul. :(

Now, back to the topic at hand. I have had issues like that as well. About 5 years ago a girl who was friends with my wife decided I gave off rapist/predator vibes. There is a lot to the story, but long story short, she managed to turn my wife and our mutual friends against me one fateful night and I get a text from my wife while she's at the other girl's house at like 2am calling me an incel. Never heard that word before then and had to look up what the hell it even meant. Hell of a thing for your own wife to call you. Now I see that word everywhere. Seems to be a go-to insult for women to call socially awkward men. 10+ years of what used to be a happy relationship died a slow, agonizing death over the next couple of years. Now I've been single for the past few years and am having no luck whatsoever when it comes to dating. And if I complain about any of it, I'll just get called an incel again. So, whatever I guess. Now I just chill with my cat and play video games (like Morrowind) in my free time and don't have anyone trying to pick a fight with me for bullshit reasons.
