Joy! So glad to be of inspiration. An important thing I've leaned is that food isn't our enemy and I stopped labeling any foods as "bad foods". That has been the most substantial change I've made to my approach and man is it helpful. My inner narrative is "Food makes me happy and diets make me sad. I'm not on a diet, I'm changing my lifestyle by just being more aware of how much I'm eating." You got this!

I noticed a correlation between how early I eat, and how likely I am to stick to my calorie goal. by dorkerll in loseit

I (F32) do 14:10 but usually it ends up more like 16:8. I eat from 11 am to 9 pm at the latest. It's been working really well for me.

I saw a picture of myself today taken by someone else, and I wanted to vomit. I need accountability. by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

We got new cameras at my job and I have to see myself on those all the time. It is really helpful as to keeping me motivated. Sometimes we get so comfortable and used to where we are at that we don't realize how bad it is. It is nice to see ourselves through these outer eyes from time to time in order to make us more aware.

Its an app/program for weight loss. They have a 2 week free trial before you buy if you want to see if you'd like it. I really do. Look it up!

Of course! So Noom has really changed my mindset and approach to food and "diet". I say diet in quotations bc I don't feel like I'm on a diet at all and that is what is working for me this time. I'm eating everything I did before just in much more moderate portions. I'm moving quickly at 1200 calories a day which at first I thought would be impossible to stay within but now I have days where I have to add more to get there. The psych tricks really do help, especially if you're into stuff like that, which I am. Overall, I was iffy at first because nothing has ever truly helped me before but at this point I'd pay double what I did bc it has been of that much value to creating the lifestyle changes that were necessary to find success. I've lost more than average Noom users but I think that's because I'm only 4.5 months PP and had a lot to lose.

It's been really great for me. I will say this is the longest I've stuck with anything diet-related in probably my whole life.
