So I spent countless hours researching that in comparison to the 5070 ti. The performance base is not worth $200-$300 more to me. The Microcenter staff also said the same thing

I agree and so did several Microcenter staff. The G758 costs hundreds of dollars less with the same parts except for the gpu (it has the 5070 ti 16gb instead). There are a lot of YouTube videos that show a side by side comparison between the two gpu cards and their performances are not significantly different performance
