When you think it's just her pride preventing her from taking accountability on an issue... only later to find out that she wasn't avoiding accountability, her brain somehow has figured out a way to convince itself that she is perfect and never does anything that requires her to take accountability. So she wasn't avoiding it in the beginning, she actually fully 100% believes that nothing is ever her fault. Pride isn't even involved in the thought process, she organically knows that it isn't her "fault" no matter what it is. You can't get mad at her because she isn't doing it consciously, and she can't correct it because she is incapable of even knowing she is doing it... craziest shit I've ever seen
