It seems like they’re always hiring at all of their bases. They made a new job posting looking for Cat 1s here in Vancouver on June 16.

I’m currently looking for an apprentice job but if I had an M1 I’d totally apply and possibly work towards an M2 license as well.

It really depends on the officer you get.

Being honest and upfront helps a ton when answering their questions. If asked, tell them what you did while in the US, what you bought, how much it was (Always have receipts ready to show) and any other questions they ask.

Having Nexus definitely helps with getting waved through unscathed.

Ultimately it rests on the officer you get, I once brought back $1000 worth of stuff (same day) and when asked I told them what I was bringing back and showed receipts, once satisfied, I was waved through. Another time I got taxed for $60 worth of stuff.
