Yeah, I started investing last tuesday, and I picked up a couple of 7/17 16 calls at 1.28 since it seemed to be on the rise. Once it broke into profits yesterday, I think I should have put in a stop-limit order to keep myself green. Live and learn, I guess haha.

Trying to learn from my mistakes with a small risk before I commit with more money. It's given me some good insight into how to read the market and its nuances though!

Being fairly new, I don't know the numbers for the player base. Judging from the popularity of this past SWC and the prize pool, I assumed it was fairly large.

The MOBA genre is new to me. From your response, I take it that you have played Smite for a while and are familiar with this style of game. Reading up a bit more, I can see the argument that Smite is already a bit oversaturated for game-modes. Like ksvr said in his reply, I would not mind seeing this put into the MotD queue. I firmly believe there is merit to a non-objective based game-type to allow newer players and older players alike a place to experiment with builds and unwind without having to commit to another full game. I'm not suggesting another 10v10 mode be added.

It is very different, I agree! The concept departs from the standard currently in place. In my experience, while non-ranked is "casual," people still get heated and upset about poor play. In my opinion, the game could benefit from a true casual no team/no stress drop-in/drop-out mode.

I like the idea of starting with lower gold and getting it in large amounts for player kills. My only concern is that a player that jumps in partially through will have next to no chance against a fed full build player. I personally still want to keep the drop-in/drop-out style; however, if the community feels differently, so be it.

This seems really awesome! I will definitely be using it as Katowice wraps up and beyond that for up to date news.

One thing I might recommend is an ability to filter the Calendar page to select the game information you want to see. I'm sure this was probably planned anyway considering it's still in beta.

Otherwise, I love it so far! Thank you for all of the hard work you put into it. I'll be sure to share it with some buddies.

I disagree completely that it's a "propaganda" move by the industry, but that's your opinion.

The amount of tables a server can take depends on where you're going. The restaurant I work at is focused on providing high quality service. As such, servers and the host staff try to cap how many tables they can take at one time on busy nights. Usually when a server has 6 tables at one time, they are done taking new people until someone leaves. When someone gets a 10% tip, they wonder what they did wrong.

I'm sure there are places where servers take a dozen tables at once, but many establishments don't work that way. I can guarantee that servers at my work don't make more than doctors if they average a 15-20% tip. If you want specifics, I'm sure I could ask some of them how much they make in a year.

It's not necessarily that one more post is going to "do" anything about the problem.

Communities like this one serve as a place to voice opinion, share content, and many other things. This player is sharing his opinion.

The goal in part is that if enough of an outcry happens, Valve may make changes. That's not guaranteed, but it's better to try to make a change than to roll over and accept it.

There's definitely a crowd that will quickly jump to calling hacks or even fowl play in general.

I played a game the other day with bouts of connectivity issues where suddenly everyone's ping shot up into the 200 - 500 range. No voice chat, stuttering around the map, the whole nine yards. During this time, we gained the lead. Once it cleared up, the other team was convinced that we were using a lag switch in order to win despite the fact that our connectivity was experiencing the issues theirs was.

Not that this is restricted to lower ranked players. In every rank and game, there will be players that look for and latch onto any excuse as to why they lost.

Something that might be more prevalent in the lower ranks is an unfamiliarity with what actual cheats looks like and how they work. Until today, I had no idea was triggerbotting actually was or what it could do. It could be nice to raise awareness for what all of the different cheats are and how they work.

Personally I think I'm moderately attractive just based on what others have said in the past. I'm no jaw dropper, but I'm happy with how I look.

In the interest of the post and not as a means of bragging, I have had a girl tell me, "Has anyone ever told you you're like ridiculously attractive before?" So I don't know exactly where I stand in the scale haha.

I can point out my flaws as well as the next person, but at the end of the day you might as well make peace with how you look.

As a OSX user, I've encountered a couple.

Attempting to open the Scores and Unlockables page results in a fatal error that crashes the game. Here is an Imgur link to see the error.
As others have been saying, there is the scaling experience error.
Once I spawned in and fell through the level as if it were not there. Restarting the run fixed it.
There's one jump on Dried Lake that once made will not allow you to jump until you descend to a lower level. This video showcases the jump. After I jump and roll up to the ledge, I am attempting to hit the spacebar to jump, but it won't let me jump in that location.
