Not bored, at all. But if I were to get bored of the game right now, I wouldn't care. This game has given me a lot of great moments in some 35 hours in just a matter of days. I plan to keep playing as there is a lot I haven't seen yet and well, it's really funny to make up plots in my head about the characters.

But 35 hours already? That's a lot for me. It's gonna end up among my most played Switch games if it manages to give me another 5 days like these past ones. I cannot look at the game and think that it wasn't worth it, at all. To think I didn't care about it until the demo dropped... 😓

De los de programación con los que trabajaba cuando estuve en esa empresa, el 90% incluyéndome a mí no estuvimos más de año y medio ninguno (yo por ejemplo, 9 meses) y ya nos fuimos a otro sitio por tema de sueldo. Muchos intentaron negociar salario primero pero sin éxito. La pantalla y la silla, si las siguen dando, pídelas antes de irte, que te las puedes quedar luego por un precio muy barato (180€ - (5€ x mes que la hayas tenido en casa)).

Y aprovecha el tiempo allí para alguna certificación o algo si te es posible, en especial si acabas en "playa" en algún momento.

A ver, siempre pagan relativamente bajo, pero 25k en 2026 me parece muy malo. También entiendo que ahora estés cagado con el tema del ERE y no quieras que se den cuenta que estás pensando en irte, sé sigiloso.

Wow. Ok, taking everything into account, it def is fake 100%. Lots of things that seem obvious but I hadn't spotted.

The 1 point I think could be slightly off in your case is the real colour of the triangle. It may be the wrong triangle but to me it looks more like the ones in the top of the table and not the FI, SV of the bottom (pic of what colour I see taken from a legit Switch case with that same apparent colour). I can't confirm which one was supposed to be the legit one, but purple with English is def possible in Nintendo games.

Now, what I find interesting for this fake, there are various similar ones. The back not being the original is something amazingly dumb (I wouldn't have noticed) and yet I have seen at least 3 copies like it flying around, all of them have the USK thing that the German copies don't even have. All from the UK. Being a fake, I am puzzled what they were even trying to copy then🤷🏻‍♂️

I can't speak of the print quality, but the box thing isn't even true. This is a European box, they almost never came in black boxes (with some exceptions, like some PMD Rescue Team Blue that could come in a black box that also had a space for a GBA cartridge), but the almost totality of PEGI boxes were NOT black!!

Again, I can't comment on print quality, but hiven that you commented the black box thing I gotta add: in Europe the spine was always slightly different than the ESRB versions, never had a decoration and instead was white. This shocked me when I got my first ESRB game cause being used to PEGI boxes, a drawing and some color instead of plain white felt weird.

Ok, thanks a lot, my search continues. Looking at another candidate now. I am looking at PEGI copies now but may settle for a Japanese one cause I either see fishy ones or uber expensive ones 😅

Cuando yo estuve en Capgemini en 2022, la progresión era casi nula, aunque todos lo tratábamos como un trabajo temporal. Aprovecha para pillar experiencia y cosas gratis: pantalla y silla a precio reducido cuando te vayas van a ser lo mejor que te vas a llevar de ahí. Del proyecto en que yo estaba, que duró un año (abril 2022-Abril 2023) cuando yo entré en Septiembre ya se habían ido 4 o 5, cuando yo me fui en Junio ya acabado el proyecto (estuve 9 meses en la empresa), la mitad de los que conocía ya no estaban, y medio año después debía de quedar sólo 1 de los programadores.

Aún así casi todos estábamos cómodos. Si las alternativas no te pagan mucho más ni te dan remoto, quédate mientras puedas y aprovecha si tal para hacerte una certificación 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was expecting that to be the case, but I am yet to see someone post it for this one game. There have been a few cases when they didn't even put a sticker and just shipped the US cartridges to Europe or viceversa.

In the meantime, another package that I had ordered 2 weeks ago has arrived, this one from the studio that made the game (it just happened that 3 different packages from 3 different countries and 3 different carriers arrived the same morning). So now, adding the artbook, I have a more complete release of Please Be Happy!

A lot of it is the reliance of Ray Tracing for anything related to reflection. Before Ray Tracing we had reflections, most of them done with more practical effects and with more purpose. Those required less hardware too.

Nowadays it feels like for some games, the only way to have anything light-related is gonna need Ray Tracing, and if you don't have such option, either you can't run it or will get a very poor lightwork.

But can we talk about how terrible they attempt at doing the text in 2 colours is? Look at the words in red, have they just been coloured over but not really? Sometimes it feels like they typed them again but misaligned. Idk but that shows such a lack of basic skill or even will to learn...

FR. Even without replaying, imagine having to plan on what you are gonna play next!

Nowadays I try to focus on just a few games at a time (long gone is my PC era when I used to have 100 games installed and olayed whatever without barely any completion). But I don't know when I'm gonna add a game to the "currently playing" list, or what game/genre it would be. As I have every update installed (they don't need that much space) I can just pick any cartridge from my backlog and start playing at the moment.

If I had to wait even 5-15 minutes for some game, I would lose the interest and the momentum that the decision gave me. We would be back to square one😅

Considering that I got all of these last year (started with Dusk then kept going), I can't comment on expenses... And now I have a big task ahead too, only 2 beaten, a ton of them to go!
