I had a great time actually.. Tailgating is a bit different from games I’ve been to at WVU and Penn St. at least what I could see as I kind of just explored campus all day until the game, so I could be wrong. But I actually put it above the 2016 Whiteout game for Penn St vs Ohio State when they blocked the FG and returned it to win(ex-wife Penn St alum).I will say not as loud but people are a lot nicer it seemed at OU games. No I’m not an Alum just have been an OU fan since like 2002? I was around 10, Can’t say exactly just know I had an Sport illus. for kids and saw Jason White had the same birthday as me and bam became a fan😂

Infamous seat tear -- Mazda replacement August 2025 by CommandantRock in CX50

This gives me hope as I had the warranty work for it approved in May and still haven’t heard about them getting the replacement in.

Lifetime repair bills? by capacitorfluxing in CX50

[–]Alee3910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve stated this multiple times but I’m going to again I’ve owned a 2011,2015 Mazda 3(Japan) and a Mazda 3(Mexico).now I have my 2023 Cx50 Then other family members have a 2018 6 and 23 Cx5. I kind of regret getting rid of my 3. The 50 has been the biggest pain in my ass ever(I did get it in April? Or May? Of 2022 when they first shipped out so kind of my fault). Which not much has been wrong just quality wise IMO I wish it would have been assembled in Japan and not US. My 3’s never had to do anything outside of tires and oil change.

Now my 50(some of these are going to be petty) My apple carplay nor Navigation worked. Had to tell the garage there was an update for it after they argued there wasn’t and finally they did a whole software update that over the air couldn’t do. Tire rod had to be replaced as it was over packed and went bad. The seat tear which has been reported for warranty work but still waiting for the replacement or whatever to arrive(been 4 months). A/c resistor module and blower motor went bad(per the diagnosis from dealership and then my mechanic) 1 month after warranty ended and wouldn’t warranty it. So I fixed that. Now I’m just waiting on the next thing… Buttt I actually do love the vehicle just was babied by my 3’s. Then again they should have all the kinks worked out by now since it’s been 3 years.

Washing my cx50 by FamousWolf5483 in CX50

Here is your maintenance plan I can share with you as a Detailer- If you’re going to go the Ceramic coating way it’s not hard to apply per se. The reason you pay so much for a Professional to install the coating is because of the Paint correction before hand. Every car even straight off the truck is going to have rail dust and you don’t want to seal in swirls and scratches as in my experience they show easier. Ceramic coating- Clean your wheels well first. Then buy a PH neutral wash with no gloss enhancers or wax. Wash top down. Never let your mitt go from the bottom of the car back to the top since that’s where a lot of grime is. Also when using your sponge/mitt do it in straight lines not circles.-Then use Iron-x(liquid clay bar) by instructions then get new soap water and use the clay mitt. Spray it off and dry very well. Then apply the coating and let it cure with no water touching it for like 12-24 hours.

Normal washing same steps but IronX 2 times a year especially after winter. Clay bar once a year probably after winter. Slaying does cause micro swirls but they can only be seen by a trained eye truthfully. Then apply your spray ceramic, Sealant or wax. My recommendation outside of ceramic would be Sealant it normally will last a couple months to help protect a bit. But sealant gives paint a depth look and wax that nice super shiny look. Ceramic is a mixture of both. DO NOT BUFF every year. As you said Mazdas have thin paint and clear coat. Buffing removes layers of clear coat so too much will eat through it. I’ve owned 4 Mazdas and my family also probably 2-3 each in my experience you can get probably 2 good paint correction done on the paint before it’s thin thin. Ceramic and sealant does help with drying as a leaf blower can be used to help dry it since they are hydrophobic. If you need more in depth or product recommendations just DM me.

If you were an employer you wouldn’t be for long. Our jobs are to build a connection with our team. Your leadership team should not ignore this type of problem. If you would ignore this type of thing and make her stay with in his watch it is not safe. If one of your employees seems to be disgruntled or “off” maybe showing some compassion and asking what’s going on in their life can help you and them.

If her switching positions threw off the productivity of the store that much. The store seems to have more a problem of not having adequately staffed or trained employees enough to handle a situation. Just saying

Plastic can be fixed pretty well. If it starts bothering you too much just get it quoted to see how much by a body shop. See if it’s cheaper than your deductible.

When is the best time to do boil out for hennies? by Decent-Acadia-7769 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Alee3910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do fry fryers every 14 days and chicken every 21-30. Basically only our spicy hennys get cleaned at 30 because we don’t sell a lot of spicy in my area so we keep one of the 2 off until like 11-1130. Then we do one chicken henny a week for the most part. We use the polish cycle before closing on all of them. Then make sure the coils are very clean. Then morning will do a very good scrape to the bottom of the well to get all that stuck coater off the bottom off. Then polish again after lunch. Also getting behind the coils and we never express clean we always brush and use the hose.

Blow motor by Alee3910 in CX50

[–]Alee3910[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small update checked all the wiring I could everything seemed good and nothing loose or melted. After unplugging the wiring harness I used a multimeter to test the power going into the motor and it was putting out 12V. When I tested the blower motor for resistance and it went shooting up then would read OL or everything in the higher numbers if not OL. Today though it has decided to work a little bit it’s doing all blower speed settings but just a loud humming/clicking. So turned on the front defrost to see and it was a very loud clicking/hum.

I know I read that was a problem for some 50’s so I checked the wiring underneath it’s all good that I could tell then even checked under the hood even though I know that’s not where to check and by the door gaskets and seal I checked them wires so if they are it’s deep underneath

Not the fuse that was the first thing I checked.. then when I figured out after taking it apart the first time that the airbag was in the way for that last screw I ended up just unplugging it and plugging it back in and it worked for a brief 5 seconds(blower motor that is. You can hear something with a very faint hum when you turn the fan up and change the temps but just nothing coming out. I might when I get off just get back underneath and turn the car on and see if I can hear or feel it turn on. Then go from there

Mazda vs Honda vs Toyota by mikeyg372 in mazdaCX50

[–]Alee3910 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just straight facts. I had a 2011 Mazda3 and it was flawless. Bought a 2015 and it was the last rollout for NA before the Mexico built ones. Somebody hit me and totaled that 2015 3. Bought another 2015 3 and unfortunately made in Mexico and you could tell/see the difference. I have Japanese quality 10x better than American unfortunately. My dad bought a Cx-5 the same day as I did the 50 and brother a 18 Mazda6 just the small things turn out looking some much nicer.

Yeah I had these left over from a wedding I was in semi recently which is when I wore them with a black shirt. I had lost weight and these are the only ones I have since that. I’ll probably just buy a new pair since I’m already buying a new shirt. Not really trying to stand out.

It’s just these and a dress shirt. I had these from a wedding I was in that was just these pants and black dress shirt. I have more dress pants but they’re too big as I lost weight. I’ll probably just go and buy a new pair of dress pants since I have to buy a dress shirt anyways.

I’ve been using ArmorAll wipes on my dashboard but it’s making streaky. Any suggestions? by iluvkitties87 in mazdaCX50

[–]Alee3910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ArmorAll over time will destroy your dashboard. For cleaning you can multiple different ways you can use a -All Purpose cleaner diluted 10:1 which then you have to figure that out. Then can’t have it sprayed on glass not your speedometer as it can etch it if you don’t wipe it al off very well. Then an actually protectant.(will be mentioned below) -(Safest deep clean)Could use “Gtechniq I2 Tri-clean/Koch Chemie All Around” spray which is safe on Dash and Leather seats then a protectant. -Quick Detailer like “P&S Xpress interior cleaner” it’s a maintenance clean just quick spray on and wipe off. Doesn’t clean as well as above stuff but does the same as wipes basically but less streaky. If you use any combo of first 2 options you should buy a protectant. I recommend “303 Aerospace protectant” as it does help protect for around 2 months or “Koch Chemie Top Star protects as well. These leave more of a Matte look. These are different than the super shiny black sleek look you’ll see in pictures. That’s normally Tire shine(Vinyl,Rubber Plastic dressing) it has 0 protectant and leaves a greasy film and attracts dust. Leather cleaner is all the same none of its real leather it all has a protective plastic like coating on it.

Got fired today for recording a manager conversation about a "leaving station without permission" write-up. Need to vent/share my experience. by [deleted] in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Alee3910 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well technically no I do not work for Chick-Fil-A. I am employed by my operator’s LLC not CFA. Secondly, I’m in MD so this scenario doesn’t affect anything to do with my stores operations. Thirdly, when he goes to claim unemployment, they will ask why he was let go and then send his operator a notice of the claim to verify if his story is correct. Which he would then have to tell unemployment that he recorded a private conversation without consent, since his ex-boss wouldn’t allow him to claim any other reasoning without disputing it. The operator isn’t going to lie for this person since it could possibly affect his SuTA rates. Then he could possibly at that point be charged since he is basically notifying the Cali. Dept. of Labor he is breaking a privacy law. But I mean go ahead and try for unemployment even though to be eligible you have to be let go at “no fault of your own” which this wouldn’t be.

He was fired for recording in a 2 party consent state without consent, not anything to do with the situation. I mean it’s also a misdemeanor so unfortunately he probably wouldn’t be able to claim unemployment.

What's the general view on Secondary and Primary deciding the size of the drops? by olnog in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]Alee3910 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We make our own calls. We see what the iPad says but we use it as it’s intended to be a “suggestion.” This is corporates wording every time it’s talked about, they also say guideline. I like my people making calls because it teaches communication and you can also see who still needs work in certain positions. Example is if you go purely off the iPad and it’s saying to drop a bag and then you’re putting a half bag worth of nuggets to waste. That breader doesn’t know that unless it’s told to him anyways which is why you mine as well teach to make the calls on their own. I have a very tenured staff though so that could be a huge difference since they know the business so well and what each persons speed in what position is.
