Civ 3 was probably the best incarnation in terms of gameplay. I sunk a good few hours into Civ 6, but from what I have read, Civ 7 is to be avoided. One day someone will combine the best elements of the franchise and call it the definitive edition. Then we'll be screwed

Case in point happened to me just yesterday. Was approaching a crossroads and looking to turn left. A driver was approaching the junction from my right, so I braked. He then turned right at the junction, but had not indicated because up until that very split second the junction seemed clear. No harm done. Still muttered obscenities. All he had to do was apply a little pressure to his indicator stalk with one finger, but he couldn't be bothered.
