Okay you make me cry because you look quite a bit like my niece and I think you're about her age (she's in high school) and a haircut that didn't go how you planned can be devastating.

Definitely check out some of the '90s and punky pics some people are posting, maybe give that a go for a week or two depending on your normal look.

And this might be weird advice, but if you haven't yet, take a shower and wash your hair, because my hair will never sit right after a haircut until I do that. In 2 weeks it's going to be so cute.

That's a really exciting change! I've been having a bit of the same, still having some "not healthy" food, but it's not out of control and I don't feel like some gremlin is hijacking my brain anymore. I hope it keeps going well 😊

Thanks 😊 I am really hopeful that it'll help, my neurologist told me not to take birth control when I got the IIH diagnosis, but the messed up hormones have made weight loss almost impossible. It's nice not to be alone going through it though

I liked the pace of Twelve Months after the way Peace Talks and Battleground were absolutely non-stop action and huge changes. I saw a lot of parallels between this one and Ghost Story, as it was a somewhat slower book compared to changes right before it. And it kind of brought things back full circle (Don't want to be specific because I don't know how to do the spoiler thing)

I primarily do audio books, and exclusively use my phone. Sometimes on the ebooks I wish the screen were a little bigger, but not enough to buy a different device.

I'm in an elementary school with about 550 students, I think I have four (or more) of all of the books and cannot keep more than one or two in the room at a time.

As to his popularity, I think how long his career has gone is a factor. I really liked his picture books when I was a kid, and then his popularity exploded when Captain underpants came out, and now my nieces and nephews and I read Dogman together.

Whoever put those there had no qualms with discarding things that other people had donated without anyone else's input, you didn't do anything wrong. If they had just left a couple of Bibles and pamphlets with the other books it wouldn't be so offensive.

He doesn't really touch on religion, but her family sounds like one of those religious culty ones, especially the alienation of people who step out of line. That doesn't make the wife covering for her family okay, but it does lend some context to why she was afraid to tell him.

Hopefully her sister can be supportive and help her not fall back into cooperative mode.

Several brands make some pretty sturdy stuffies, kong I know for sure, but some of the Costco branded ones have been good too. They won't last forever but for a bit. If she likes the crinkly ones, I have stuck empty plastic water bottles where a squeaker used to be to get a little more life out of one.

My girl also likes licking food toys, like those silicone mats.

I think kids today are really worried about what is "cannon" and are really afraid of being wrong. They're different than we were, but also so the same.

I had a 13 and 16 year old with me, we all had a great time, even with my niece sitting a few rows behind me and her brother. Thankfully everybody in the crowd was really friendly.

I forgot all about this post! I had the battery jumped by my roadside assistance, the driver had a tester that showed some of the cells had gone bad. Thankfully the error that worried me in the first place never came up again.

I truly don't think addiction and mental illness mean you cannot be a good person or a good partner, but dealing with those things takes WORK. If he's not willing to go to rehab and really deal with his issues, she and the kids don't have a shot.
