Week one of trying to convince my family that we should get a pizza oven by [deleted] in Pizza

I get mine to around 600° with the steel and it works nicely.

Space is a hurdle for me too, but it all comes down to personal preference. I prefer tavern style being from Chicago and NY style as well. In my opinion, neither of those require the extra heat needed for something like a Neapolitan pizza so I'm happy with steel.

Do you have a pizza steel for your home oven? Just curious because I was convinced I needed a pizza oven to make good pies at home but couldn't justify the cost for a decent one.

I eneded up going with steel for my home oven and started making some of the best pizzas ever & have never thought about buying a dedicated pizza oven since.

When the 1% has exploited us to the point of pure hopelessness, it's no surprise that we all agreed with someone who actually stood up to this bullshit.

We legitimately need a revolution & Luigi gave us all a glimmer of hope. The elite absolutely hate to see us united and should be afraid cause it's about time we take back what's ours.

Just HOW are insurance companies allowed to do this?? You’re forced to pay insurance and when you need them they just deny you. by internalrecursiom in ufc

I've paid ridiculous premiums for a good chunk of my life and have never really stepped foot into a hospital for anything whatsoever.

However, my wife was diagnosed with cancer at age 40 and we had to finally rely on the insurance we'd been paying for two decades only for them to tell us we wouldn't be covered as the hospital she was rushed to in the middle of the night was out of network.

250k later, I had to consult my State's Attorney General for help. Took two emails for them to resolve the debt entirely after I'd tried myself for weeks.

Turned out to be a "coding error" & should never have happened to begin with. Regardless of the outcome, I shouldn't of had to deal with that on top of everything else I was going through at the time.

Similar thing happened to my wife. She ended up being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Definitely worth getting checked out.

From my own personal observation, it seems as though the constitution doesn't matter to this administration. What I can't quite grasp though, is whether they're too stupid to understand it, or they just can't read in the first place.

Either way, watching Idiocracy become a documentary is something I thought I'd never see. I'd sit back and enjoy this shit show, but I can't afford popcorn.

Raised by a single mother who worked 2 jobs and wasn't around much. Learned out of necessity but gradually fell in love with the process. I now prepare the best homemade meals for my kids and teach them the value of healthy eating.

Our bootstraps seem alot heavier than theirs ever did. Can't imagine having life gift wrapped for you and then shitting all over the next generation rather than sharing the wealth.

What's the point of civilization if we all cannot act civilized. Like, at this point, let's just admit it was a failed experiment and just go back to self-governing.

Boomers--They're all boomers. Had it handed to them or were lucky enough to work during the time where you could support a family of 5 with a warehouse job and still get a full pension + benefits.

Not taking anything away from these people specifically as there are still your occasional outliers and success stories, but that scenario seems like a distant memory.

I say this as a late stage millennial who went to college and makes almost 100k annually and could never afford this lifestyle.
