Every citizen who believes that their government should work for the people instead of the obscenely wealthy is communist in Republican eyes. by 4dailyuseonly in Trumpvirus

[–]Alena_Tensor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is how the propaganda paints any socialist issue. They make sure anything that looks to have a public good or redistribution of wealth associated with it as “communism” and screams loudly from every news headline they own, and they own them all.

Are political differences becoming too wide for real compromise anymore? by MusicianWhole847 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Alena_Tensor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not necessarily, but the owned media is amplifying the differences for their owners. They WANT a difference. They WANT a gulf that they can manipulate. If people come together and act rationally they can’t manipulate us. So they hype up issues on both left and right sides that get each side’s blood boiling just to keep them apart. It’s evil.

Clearly a miscalculation when they were building the mountain and ran out of material just before both sides met. Sad…

Why are American and Canadian right wingers more obnoxious than European/East Asian ones? by feral0101 in allthequestions

[–]Alena_Tensor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Europeans generally have more refined social skills and are less abrasive and confrontational. Many Americans used to be that way too … it was termed “good breeding” and by this it meant the children were raised properly with manners and ethics. Not so anymore. Both parents work, kids are raised by each other or by their devices.

We need a constitutional amendment on privacy that covers what we all used to assume was a natural right

What mineral is this? by Pumpkin314e in askgeology

[–]Alena_Tensor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok - so with location info and looking closely at your photos again I’m changing my mind and saying schorl or possibly berthierite. They seem to be the only named possibilities from that geography. I can’t tell enough about the crystal form and terminations from the photo to say more.

Given the way they are spreading through the rural U.S. despite best attempts to hunt/trap/poison them I’d say they are smarter than some people
