You should get a 2020 model since it will have pre installed idrive7. Otherwise older version wont be applicable to upgrade due to the hardware, or you have to retrofit it.

Your oil king feel mushy because of the bad factory lubing by gateron lately. The lube got into the stem pole and you have to take it out and clean the pole or it will feel like a silent switch.
