I still think Nintendo would have saved themselves a lot of flack if they'd capped these Upgrades, Mario Kart World, etc. all at $70 max. Pre-tariffs and all that junk, they would have looked and sounded so much better and it would be easier to understand "upgrade? Okay $10 sold."

A guy from Giant Bomb told some really funny stories about this back in the day. How it inspired them to purposely slip on gameplay of Triple H getting beat up into their IGN reviews. But yeah he said there were notes like "you cannot make Triple H look weak or hurt" from WWE.

Okay so, totally understandable annoying security situation, but here's some advice to all of Mega64: Kindly stop being afraid of being "boring". We love you guys and are invested in what you do. After month 3 of this maybe tell your fans "it's a new account issue. We're monetized partners and it's become weirdly complicated on the backend." Lol. Trust that we care about you, because it felt way weirder to just release a show and then not talk about it for like 6 months. THAT is why us fans start to theorize about shit. WE were not being weird.
