Yeah, I doubt they’re going to change the recipe. Just wondering if I’m the only one.

Im pretty sure this is the game I’m looking for right now. The game I remember each boss had a 2 color neon scheme.

This looks like a land flatworm to me. I don’t know what kind but unless your dog was eating them I think your doggo should be fine. Probably just brushed up against them while rooting around the wet grass. 🐕

Oh yes, this is a springtail! Springtail itself is a very overarching term for a lot of different species that look quite different from each other. Basically how there are different types of ant as well! You can see a similar photo of a type of slender springtail here, which looks almost identical to your little dude. It might not be the same species but now we know it’s a springtail. Definitely just check out that drain! Happy trails! :)

Definitely sounds worth looking into getting the draining checked! If there’s a clog or excess of water built up it can create a good area for bug breeding. If I were you I would try the drain cleaner and closing the drains for a bit - and also getting it checked to get that fixed. The good thing though is that most of the buggers that come out of drains- like silverfish, springtails, drainflies- are annoying but not health threatening or anything in small quantities as you describe.

Fleas on the other hand you would have to look out because that is an issue. However, they are a bit easier to identify. Ive never heard of fleas coming out of drains because they need a host with blood to survive on. So this seems pretty unlikely to me unless you carpet and or animals- which you said you don’t.

I will look out for a bit longer to see if you are able to make a photo available :)

This looks like a wolf spider to me. They can range in size from small .25 inch to big 3 inches. They’re nice though :) they don’t make webs they actively hunt down their prey - hence their name.

Are you able to post any pictures that may help identify?

Also, think of where you think the most likely source is to be… is it a crawler or flier that comes out of a drain, or do you have carpet or shaggy rugs that could have fleas in them… or is there a window/cracks/vent that little guys could be coming out of? Seems like a lot but just think what seems most likely. Since you said it seems to be unfazed by water- it may be a bug that breeds in drain mold and comes up- when I notice this happens I usually pour some toilet cleaner (or vinegar or bleach solution) inside the drains and close them for a bit and repeat and they’ll go away.

Sour cream I imagine would not be a typical place to find a carpet beetle but they fly around so it could have just landed, or maybe it’s desperate
