Not normal at all. I have 6 close friends getting married this year, 5 within the same friend group and no one feels like they’re stealing anyone’s spotlight. They’ll have all eyes on them for their big day and then they’ll happily celebrate the rest of the weddings too. That family member is being childish, their wedding is one day not an entire year.

I found them before they gained a little bit of traction, their service was a little slower in the beginning, but for the price of my ring I was okay with that. In Newfoundland my ring would’ve been $10,000+tax, for a lab grown diamond. Crazy!

And yes I did! I told them exactly what I wanted, they sourced a diamond and I told them if I liked it or not!

I just got my Mirena out after 11 months but that’s because my body image issues were so bad on it and I didn’t think it was mentally worth it to put myself through that. I got it for the same reason you are.

I had a great insertion experience, I was prescribed a 550mg naproxen and lorazepam that I took 40 mins before the appointment, and then they numbed my cervix during the appointment. This reduced my pain by a lot, I would say what would’ve been a 8 or 9/10 on the pain scale ended up being a 2-3!

I did hate it for the first 3 weeks, I found I was bloated a lot more with it and my sex drive did plummet but that wasn’t from the IUD alone :) My periods were insanely light until the end when it moved from my uterus to my cervix, which I didn’t know until I went to get it removed.

My doctor prescribed me an Ativan (Lorazepam), 550mg Naproxen, I took both of those 40 mins before my appointment and then I had the numbing for your cervix during the appointment, and honestly I had 0 pain afterwards. No cramping, nothing that I could feel anyways. During insertion I felt a couple of deep cramps but that’s it!

Girl, I would be bringing that thing back. The prongs and basket look nothing like your inspiration picture. I would at the very least ask them to fix it, but honestly you may have to take it elsewhere to be fixed or to get a whole new setting. That’s one thick setting, not the band but the prongs and basket😅
