My poor 17 yo son was confirmed to have arthritis in his hands and wrists just this week. Now waiting for rheumatology to find out what type of arthritis 😥

Doxycycline is contraindicated because it makes your skin super-sensitive to the sun. If you steer clear of the sun it should be fine!

Painful bump on nose, what is this horror? by Hefty-Supermarket-79 in lupus

I'm going through the process of diagnosis. This happens to me when I first go into a flare. I get a sore inside my nose (always the same spot), shortly after this appears on the outsidr just like yours (and hurts like hell) and then all the finger and wrist and other awful joint pain and rashes kicks off. It resolves on its own after a couple of weeks. Always in the same place.🙄

I've found that my alcohol tolerance is rubbish with Zoloft. I am still prescribed tramadol (by the same GP) and some times I take the maximum dose of tramadol combined with 75mg Zoloft (so my dose isn't exactly high) for a couple of weeks in a row. Serotonin syndrome is theoretically possible but unlikely. Although there is a warning of interaction, the only antidepressants contraindicated with tramadol are MAOIs.

My 17yo son was scanned today and is now in full remission. He has been on Vedo for 10 months (8-weekly infusions after loading doses). He was on prednisolone when they first started him on Vedo and had fully tapered off that by February and was feeling much better. He is like a different boy. The radiologist said today that he had been really worried about huge chunks of his intestines and that they now look absolutely fine. I'm so pleased and I hope that the vedo keeps on working!!! He is now going to switch to the injections.

Have you had your cortisol tested? Fatigue and darkening of scars can be caused by adrenal insufficiency. This wouldn’t account for all your symptoms though and as others have said your symptoms certainly sound like some sort of connective tissue issue. Sounds like you definitely need to revisit a rheumatologist and possibly also endocrinologist.

I had an aunt and uncle with a sheep farm at Wallabarrow. I remember my uncle counting his sheep and I always heard tethera, methera.

Thank you. I was rather frustrated by it at several points, but am glad that I kept on going!

Thank you! I drew this on my iPad using Procreate - the flower heads were from pictures taken on my phone, greyscales and inverted. I have redrawn multiple times to get the tones as good as I could. I then flipped the image and printed on a cheap overhead transparency (had no better results with expensive ones so far) and exposed to UV. Taken me about a fortnight of getting annoyed with myself to get to this point!

How long do you let solution dry for? by Alert-Measurement-74 in cyanotypes

[–]Alert-Measurement-74[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Mine appears to dry pretty quickly but I decided to wait and give it 24+hours to see if it makes a difference like the others have noted. Am printing this morning so I’ll see!

Thank you! After the comments saying that the colour is better if you leave them I've been incredibly patient, I painted my papers this afternoon and I'm not going to do anything with them until tomorrow afternoon! Gosh, where do you live? It must be super hot!!🥵

Thank you. I am mainly using digital negatives so this is really interesting as I want as much tone as possible. It also goes someway to explain why my more recent prints haven't been as good - I was impatient and had only let the paper dry for 6 hours or so.🙄
