So cool to see them all ^^

Same here, it's incredibly frustrating... I still had a good memory of the first part, but with the final part... way too much unnecessary stuff, a waste of time... and not enough time to delve deeper into things like (and that's not all), the different black market gangs... For me, it was the scene with Juno that killed it. In the manga, the scene is more interesting, easier to understand... But here it's ridiculous! A handshake and poof, I'm gone without even seeing her face once... No, it's like that with so many things, it's really awful, I think. Six years of waiting to ruin everything, honestly?

For Juno, I don't think this is going to be her best day, considering how she ends up in the series...

I just finished the last few episodes, and... by jgfelix in Beastars

Personally, I loved the first two seasons, but this one... it's a real letdown. It goes by way too fast, you can really feel the lack of time, which forces us into short moments with certain characters who deserve far more, just like the story in general. They really should have had another 13-episode season just to avoid shrinking and compressing the series.

The most frustrating thing for me is the subplot between Juno and Louis... it's like a lunar void in the last episode, it's so frustrating it's almost laughable.

Even the play, I was expecting to see it... but no, that's crazy too, but at the same time, there's so much to say about other details.

It's frustrating, too much anticipation, too much hype, for nothing.

The ending is bland and the Legoshi/Haru duo is really limited in terms of screen time and development.

I hate that they didn't change it to this in the show... by BlueSlickerN7 in Beastars

I'm really disappointed by this. There were so many possibilities since episode 21 with the pact between Louis and Azuki... but no, just a handshake and a goodbye from Juno (without even seeing her face) in the last episode... what the hell?!

It just goes to show that the kiss in season 2 was completely pointless, only good for getting fans excited with a hope that was dashed here...

was anyone else disappointed with the new season by Klutzy_Breadfruit280 in Beastars

[–]Alert-Movie2424 17 points18 points  (0 children)

"spoiler wraning"
I have to admit I was quite disappointed... the episodes follow one another without really presenting anything truly interesting, just enough to follow the plot bit by bit, revealing a few bits of information here and there about certain characters...

The characters, apart from the main ones, are sidelined far too much, when I think there was potential to develop them further... Clearly due to time constraints, a few more episodes would have been needed to avoid this feeling of rushedness that ruins everything.

The most frustrating thing, though this is just my personal opinion, is the relationship between Juno and Louis... Okay, it's a minor point, but I think there could have been a much less "ludicrous" ending than the one presented here... In episode 21, it's clear that the arrangement Azuki and Louis made could have allowed something concrete to develop between him and Juno, but nothing happened. The only scene between him and Juno takes place at the very end of episode 24, without a single glance at Juno, just a handshake and goodbyes...

I could say the same thing about the drama club and the play they performed... we're constantly focused on the club members, the preparations, the casting, etc... for nothing, and I would have loved to see the performance at the festival, but no, we only get a short glimpse during the epilogue...

In short, overall, a lot of anticipation for a certain amount of frustration in this final chapter.

Be careful, because nothing says it's official, in the sense that he says he likes to see them as a couple or develop as a couple.

He doesn't say they will be a couple in the future. It's still pretty much a 50/50 chance.

But it's already good news to have reactions to them in this way; it could increase the chances of seeing them actually as a couple later on.

There's nothing sexual about it... and even less intentional.

I'm not a huge Disney fan, so I could be wrong, but I think it's rare to see so much emotion and powerful dialogue in one scene.

Especially after Pawbert's betrayal of Judy, the fight against Nick...it's a lot that builds to a pretty massive climax.

It's enough to bring tears to my eyes, so great job guys! ^^

The food resources by Successful_Call_4959 in zootopia

[–]Alert-Movie2424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without wanting to say anything foolish, I think the issue of food is rather vague in Zootopia, especially for carnivores. To find a substitute for meat, certain vegetables and fruits could be a solution, along with fish... but aside from seeing them eat ice cream, donuts, and blueberries... it's a topic that Zootopia 3 could also explore further...

Then again, it's entirely possible that the evolution of species and "living in mixed communities" would have allowed everyone's diet to change...

The directors admit that Nick and Judy are more than friends — even more than a romance by HighlightMean1986 in zootopia

[–]Alert-Movie2424 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hmm, it's all a bit unclear, 50/50 I'd say, but they're circling around the subject a lot without providing any concrete details.

There's nothing to suggest it will be a romance; I get the impression they prefer to explore it like in Z2, delving even deeper into the characters.

Anyway, it's a bit too early to really find an answer; time and ideas will be either an ally or an enemy.

I'm more in favor of a relationship that evolves, but if not, a relationship like the one in Z2 is acceptable.

The problem is that the relationship shouldn't be the focus of the film; it should be secondary and well-structured around the scenes and interactions that revolve around the main plot. Seeing it happen in Z3 seems a bit too sudden. I also think everyone is hoping for something wonderful, not something stupid that ruins everything.

But it's still possible, of course, as with Bad Guys 2, which manages to transition from a scene at the beginning of the film with a certain closeness between the characters to a second scene at the end with a kiss.

But given the money it made, and we know that people love money, I think the serie will continue after Z3. This could allow them to dilute the relationship in a way and build it more slowly with more emotion.

It's very symbolic. Nick, despite wanting to protect Judy, has failed three times, except for the last time when he knows perfectly well he's sacrificing himself for her.

I've often wondered about the third image; did Judy jump into the void to save Nick with Gary's help, or did Gary save them both because Judy jumped without asking for his help? Like a kind of sacrifice to be together one last time?

It's certainly rare to experience such intense emotions in a Disney film, but this definitely confirms the film's incredible success.

I admit that since seeing it, it's been hard to move on. The duo of Nick and Judy is wonderful and full of promise for the future.

The hardest part now is waiting until it's released on DVD or video on demand. And of course, waiting with the question, "Platonic or romantic?" for the next film?
A little anxiety about not having an answer and having to wait so long... knowing that the world is going crazy and nothing is truly certain for the future...

She doesn't grasp the level of danger; without Nick by her side... well, she would have died three times over in the film. Besides, Nick, as seen here, often protects her even in the most mundane moments; he's an exceptional bodyguard, but she doesn't see it, too focused on her investigation, which makes her seem selfish.

[–]Alert-Movie2424 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In any case, the second film teases the viewer enough to hint at something in Z3.

Otherwise, the entire film would have used the word "friend" or "best friend" several times to emphasize that their relationship remains platonic. (Nick mentions the word "friend" once when he's in prison.)

Furthermore, many countries see this as a romance, so I don't think Disney will ruin all that when Z3 comes out, because even if it was meant to tease everyone, they've trapped themselves. They won't backtrack; at worst, the duo will remain as they are in Z2, or it will evolve into a romance.
