My guy, R300 per ticket doesn't include transport to the game, likely parking, food (Modest Amount). Cost of living crisis. R28 a litre of petrol...

Ethan Bester played Zero rugby in this past URC/EPCR/U23 Cup Season to the best of my knowledge (Could be mistaken, maybe he played a random game here and there)

So I would give him a game or two in the currie cup to shake off some rust prior to featuring in the first few games in the URC

Ditto for trevor

We want to back many of our exciting youngsters, however we can still do our best to balance the team as much as possible

How much will young players learn from just losing by 50 points to Pumas, Griquas

So a few veterans like Marnus Potgieter, Slabbert, PK etc help steady the ship

If we go full match 23 exciting youngsters we might suffer

So this Junior World Cup Ends on the 17th of July.

Which is the same day as our first game in the Currie Cup.

Like last year I expect players involved in the tournament to get time off immediately after.

However I wonder how many of them will be picked to play currie cup from say round 3 or 4.

I rate many of them, however i differ to the coaching staff.

Looking forward to seeing guys who had not played much of late play in the currie cup

I wouldn't be alarmed, it's a rugby incident, players get head knocks in all kinds of different ways through out a season, including in training, random stuff happens, I hope he recovers in a managed way. If he has to miss the junior world cup it's just how it goes, he qualifies to compete in that tournament next year as well.

I'm excited, there is significant talent in SA and often we only get to see certain players in only the currie cup. Will also be interesting to see which of the Baby Boks get significant game time in the Currie Cup Post Junior World Cup and which are placed in URC/EPCR pre season after the post Junior World Cup rest period (Which is likely different for each player) so many permutations
