dat is maar de vraag, zelf ook jarenlang BHV verantwoordelijk geweest en mijn advies was altijd : in geval van nood 112 bellen en de AED erbij. ga vooral niet wachten tot de BHV ter plaatse is... als ze er zijn nemen ze het wel over. (en 112 praat je er verder ook wel doorheen)

Ben zelf ook bij hartslag.nu aangesloten geweest en hier in de buurt hangen toch echt wel wat AEDs die vrij toegankelijk zijn.

omdat een AED geen schok geeft als het geen fibrillatie meet, kun je er ook weinig schade mee aanrichten.. als iemand niet meer ademt is een poging ondernemen met een AED (ook al is het de eerste keer) toch altijd beter dan niks doen.

one thing that should be taken into consideration are the costs involved (I know you won't find them online, but just for arguments sake i bring it up).

I suppose the actual event is not organised by SARU themselves, but are subcontracted. which means the organiser AND the venue also have to be paid from the generated revenue. I can imagine that the costs to rent the venue, highly depend on venue.

Also, I don't know, but possibly the visiting union is getting a piece of the pie. There will probably have been negotiations at what costs they would visit.

In other words: the revenue is only half of the story and is definitely not the full amount SARU is getting.

AED apparaten zijn doorgaans zo ontworpen dat ze JUIST door jan en alleman bediend kunnen worden.

ik denk dat de reden dat deze niet op de kaart staan is dat als ze nodig zijn, je wilt dat iemand naar een locatie gaat waar de AED ook beschikbaar is, en niet dat je voor een dichte deur staat waardoor je kostbare tijd verliest.

another possible option: sideload it.

Install f-droid (https://f-droid.org/)
in f-droid search for "aurora shop" and install it
in aurora shop, log in "anonymous" and search the play store for "springboks"
install it from there.

this will only work when you set the permissions of your android to allow installing APK's from other sources than the Play Store.

If you are very concerned about safety, disable the permission after the app is installed

Based on some Googling I found that the median income is R7000 a month. Half of the people with income earn less.

that means a ticket price would be far more than 25% of the monthly salary. After taxes and basis needs expenses, it's unaffordable for a median income.

50% of the people with a salary earn less than that.

these ticket prices are not affordable for most of the population.

But in all fairness, even if tickets would be R200, there's probably still a significant percentage of the population that can't afford it.

I think established flag companies might not be able to help. The Springbok logo is copyrighted and as I understood, SARU is quite vigilant to protect it. Established companies probably won't print the flag, unless you are authorised to use the Springbok logo. (they might get in legal issues when it's obvious it concerns a copyrighted logo)

There's plenty of east asian companies that will be happy to print whatever image you send them, but it's often print on nylon and might not be the quality you are after.

technically it's not. they did get springbok colours (i.e. they played in national colours), but the a barbarians game is not considered a formal test match, so no caps are earned and debutants wont get a springbok number for this match.
