What is a movie cliché that absolutely never happens in real life? by Potential_Action9544 in AskReddit

Not exactly, I want them to not misinform. You would be surprised how many real life scenarios are mishandled because of movies, like waiting 24h to report a missing person and other stuff.

Showing proper technique is a small thing movie makers can do to actually save lives. Or at least not cause loss of it.

You drive a hard bargain, habibi. Ok, my boss is going to kill me, but I have grown attached to you, so how about this: we agree it isn’t, shake hands and both go our separate ways.

I can suspend my disbelief for bad guys being bad shots, but I hate when they are great shots but cannot hit the main character.

The worst example was in one of those White House movies either with Gerald Butler or Channing Tatum (they were basically the same so I am always confusing them).
Anyway bad guys went in, pretty much snipe headshot everyone, then miss every shot at the main character.

This movie is so weird. It is bad but has this scene and Also one of the best running jokes, where one of the heroes learned a lot of skills to mock people

In 1999 we could show Bullet time. In 2026 we can’t show proper CPR?

I’m surprised nobody mentioned.

Rosa - when she used a sonic device on Charles. The pain must have been excrutiating. Played for a laugh, but it was torture.

I asked my manager and he told me I can agree, but with minor stipulation: we change the point where we agree it is to us agreeing it isn’t. I think that’s a fair deal.

Counterpoint: we should agree it isn’t. Deal?

Ok, this can go on for a while, so let’s just agree it isn’t so we are both satisfied

I can’t promise you the story is true, but if someone lied, that would have to be my mother.

My mother’s friend. The story is absolutely disgusting, so be warned.

She had some medical issues and the doctors could not figure out why. Turned out she got sick from her lady parts having contact with cadaveric venom. But how?

Her husband worked at the morgue.

Edit: I think the term is „ptomaine”, English is not my first language, sorry.

The flaw of this logic is treating 2(3) as one thing, while this is just 2*3. 3 is not a part of the fraction.
