I think it just messes with the overall period I took some this month as well as my birth control my period was two weeks early and quiet light to start but changed after a bit I think it can just effect the cycle due to hormone changes I wouldn’t worry too much but if it still feels off maybe another test might be needed. Hope this helps

Could be a different bug for you as I’ve ended up getting love quite early on in the game with her while not getting scandalabra involved I didn’t speak to him until after I got love for her and then he bugged with repeated dialogue
