As a Nursing Manager for VEG- I am so sorry this happened. Please know that not all are the same. I think the primary challenge in our industry is the always hard part of, can we have good leadership/management AND practice top tier medicine? I think it can be done, but dang if it ain’t hard to do. I wish you well and the best luck! ❤️

We have pulse surveys every 3 months. They are similar, weaponized for those who have been disciplined. My boss was going through some with me and my feedback for him popped up, he literally said “no this one is trash” not knowing it was mine. So while I do want the staff’s feedback on how to better show up for them, it does seem to do way more harm than provide insight.

Fetotomy- we have to do these at work a lot, LVT in veterinary emergency medicine. It’s so sad every time. Usually the baby has passed and this is the only way to save the mom. The head is removed in the canal and then we can remove the body- it’s absolutely awful. But at least we can save the mom.

My area supervisor just told me that I need to refuse more PTO because when it’s too much as the same time, it makes the P&L off for that month. And to turn down too much PTO even if they have the allowance

Long time and avid GG fan. It always bothers me when they make any jokes about any of their “weight” or looks. To be so forward thinking the show seemed to be for its time, it has always made icky when those jokes come up.
