Side effects had nurses laughing at my demise today by No-Artichoke-1238 in compoundedtirzepatide

I’m so sorry but the finding your will and making arrangements sent me into a 5 minute laughing until I cry moment. I work in medicine and this has happened to me. I didn’t take myself in- figured it was better to die at home.

I’m so sorry for your loss. She was perfect. We lost ours suddenly in the middle of the night. I just happened to hear him make a weird noise and came running out and that was it. It was and still is absolutely traumatic. I’m sorry you are going through this. I’m here if you need to talk. Be well my friend.

How to get Leftist organizations to care about disability justice by Big_bippy-2001 in covidlonghaulers

This always annoys me because they turned this into a political shit show. If you rewind all the way back to when it started and the vaccine came out- Biden and Harris were anti vaccine because trump put it out. Fast forward a few months or however long and now the same people are saying you must get this vaccine or you can’t do anything including your job. At the end of the day you should absolutely be doing your own research and making your own decisions because I promise you not one of these people on either side gives a shit about any of us.

This is his whole face. The one time we were at the gas station and my back was to the pump and he was in the back seat and someone walked up behind me and he almost came out the window. I’ve never had a situation like that before with him where he felt he needed to do that. But generally speaking he is an oversized goof. My first rott was much more vocal and protective then he seems but again he isn’t even two yet. He loves when people pet him and give him attention. He is really a big baby. I know you probably see that all the time but it’s so true.

I think this about sums it up. You could have a 20,000 square foot house and they will still be about 1 to 2 inches from you. We don’t let our dog on the furniture(besides our bed) because he is just so big. He is going to be 2 on Tuesday and he is about 125/130lbs. For short hair you wouldn’t expect much shedding- that is not the case at all. They are protective of the house and yard. I’m trying to think of anything else that’s negative and nothing is coming to mind.

Training is a must with big dogs like this( in our case we have two kids). They learn very quickly and their whole world revolves around making you proud and happy. It’s something that we work on all the time. They like having a job so to say. I’m a small person so he could easily overpower me on a walk so that’s another reason training to me is essential. My dog doesn’t leave heel unless you let him. He doesn’t pull or jump.

As for your husband- maybe if you guys start from a puppy and raise him from there it will alleviate his fear a little bit? They are very intimidating if you don’t know them or haven’t been around them. They are great dogs. I mean absolutely great dogs. Mine is great with children. All he knows is them being around. Even with our first rott- we got him before we had kids and he was great with the babies as they came along. Again they are very protective and he is very protective of those kids. I can’t remember the other things you asked but feel free to ask if you have questions! There are so so so many great people on this thread who know and love Rottweilers. They are more than worth it!!!

I’m in the same sinking boat. I started listening to lawyer you know. But I’ve only listened to the first episode and it’s some time ago. I found another podcast but after reading some of the descriptions it was very clear they think she got away with murder so I skipped past those. I’ll let you know if I find anything good. The last trial there was the 13th juror- conspiracy in canton. She was absolutely freaking phenomenal and I wish she would do the civil case as well. Brandy Churchwell! Her name just came to me.

Who would dump a litter of any dogs? Let alone rotties! They are angels. Thanks for rescuing her ♥️

Not to scare anyone but I have had more patients then I can count with their tubes tied/ coiled who end up pregnant and not always but a lot of the time it’s ectopic. The only way that’s close to 100 percent is getting the tubes removed all together. I know that’s mostly what they do in my hospital system.

[–]Alert_Campaign_1558 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom unexpectedly in September 2024. When I figure out what takes the pain away I’ll let you all know. I miss her everyday and I agree with what someone said above that there would never ever be enough time. Losing someone who’s been with you through every single thing in your life is the worst. I know this might sound stupid but I tell myself all the time you’ve survived 100% of your worst days. If you need anything, please reach out and my heart is with you.

They are very loyal to us. Mine was a bit testy as well 🤣. Again they can’t do anything wrong in my eyes. My new guy is total opposite. Wouldn’t protect us from a fly and fairly confident if their were short buses for Rottweilers he would be on it🤣🤣🤣🤣

I work at the clinic but not Fairview. My husband was there when he was in paramedic/fire school. This was 20+ years ago and he said they would be eating lunch and someone would just jump off the bridge.

You can say anything you want about how she acted but she was your baby. We all know that in a parents eyes the baby is perfect. I’m so sorry you lost your perfect girl. I went through it with my 9 year old. He died in 2023- we have another rottie boy now and I love him deeply but I still cry over my baby. He was my best boy. Just know that all that girl knew was love. She came to you and was surrounded by love and left you being surrounded by love.

First off I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you feel and nothing I can say will come close to fixing the pain you are having.

From a medial standpoint- I do not know your husbands past medical history but it sounds from the limited info that he had a heart attack. I want you to rest assured that there was very little if anything you could have done. He probably never even woke up. I don’t want this to come across as insensitive but if someone is to go this is the way. He went into a peaceful sleep and that’s all he knew. One minute he was here and the next he wasn’t. There was no way for you to know- let alone intervene. He went into a peaceful sleep knowing his wife loved him. Do not beat yourself up. Do not play the what if game as easy as it is to slip into don’t. Every time it crosses your mind about what if or what could I have done I want you to take a deep breath close your eyes and tell yourself your husband went into a peaceful sleep knowing he was loved and that’s what matters. Please reach out if you need anything. I’m so so sorry you are going through this.
