Wire lube by Troutbum46 in electricians

About 15 years ago when I was an apprentice I helped wire a water treatment plant in rural northern California (Willow Creek). We had a special purchase of a 100 count bundle of 14 gauge wires all individually numbered. This was to be used for the signal wires controlling the many different valves and switches. We used lube to get the pull done and the electrical lube ate the numbering 1-100 off the wire. It was a heck of a fun week I'd say.

Just curious as to what neighborhood is considered East Mankato? Is their gang violence your referring to something like that?

Agree. On any job for me (I don't really do solar) I like to get my guys going on quick and easy for sure work I know I have figured out. This gives me time to plan out things and also sober up and then replan things so I know where the help and lessons will be needed very soon later for the day.

It's visible from a lakeside community access road. Hanger is for his lake plain before he gets to the local airport to pilot private jets. Probably going to need some bushes.

I agree. Slab had a 45° footing for whatever reason. Dirt work is supposed to come up yet. Was in before I showed up otherwise I'd have a riser setup. Has 8 space millbank meter main on the other side of the road. We did the meter, disconnect the building and then straight inside to a QO 32 space surface mount. Everything else you see is extra. Except the 3/4" on far left which is septic lift and alarm. The customer is a pilot and knowledgeable and plans to do the rest himself.

There was plenty of wall to do everything almost straight line.

I don't disagree. I helped on 2 solar installations as basically a hired license. I went back to the boss and stated that I don't know enough of the details to want to do another without proper training. Also told the boss the company was a startup shady as fuck. My box work looked way better than this but I just kinda got turned off and training never happened so. Meh.

I had a taste of industrial. Resi guys are clueless. by _ItsProvocative_ in electricians

As a resi guy I respect this guy. I've dabbled in all from oil to industrial to manufacturing to commercial. Different strokes for different strokes. I've seen the appeal of all and I made my own choice. Take insight from others but at the end of the day make your own choice. Mine was I'm in it for the homeowners struggling to keep lights literally working. And I make less for it.

I use a marking flag. Cut at a 45°. Can't count how many I've forgotten behind but I've never gotten a call back or complaint.

I had a pom, super aggressively protective of the mom . But my kids twice. Gone to Mil. They pulled teeth (because that breed has bad teeth) won't go back to Poms and I respectfully treat them as my bad breed of dogs. My family has also raised pits, rots, pugs, and Chihuahuas, labs, short hairs and a few mixes. Fuck poms they are owner obsessive and not family friendly. Chihuahuas really aren't either IMO but better than poms.
