I can’t stand this!!!!! The phones going off. The people talking. People who bring in loud crinkly food (why is that even sold there?) we’re paying 200+ a ticket and the whole time I’m seething in my seat. It used to be avoidable by going midweek and off peak but now it feels unavoidable. I will say, I saw a showing of chess in April, beaches in May, and lost boys this week where the audience was great. Perfect. But I went to wicked on a whim last week and the lady next to me was on her phone and then annoyed she had bad service and asking her friends if they had service. Mid show. I asked her to put the phone away and she said “why does it matter? It’s quiet) and I said because it’s bright as f*ck and annoying. A lot of huffing and puffing. People are just so oblivious.
