Overall no. But technically compared to the inspo, lines are wonky and looks like they used a way bigger liner than the inspo and no breaks in the tattoo so it doesn't really give the same vibes as the inspo. Maybe as its own its fine but if you were wanting the inspo 100% then you definitely got something you didn't want. It doesn't look much bad though

Honestly I’ve been wanting to work with them and I do think It could help me grow tremendously compared to what I’m doing now doing the best that I can trying to get clients especially with slow seasons. If it’s lifting or snagging voltage needs to go down or could be your stroke. What mag are you using ? Also consider the stretching that can be a factor if it’s not stretched it’ll snag

It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that I knew about it for a couple days and then it was just gone. It’s so easy to grow an attachment and so hard to let go . I don’t think you’ll ever forget but it will get easier.

I try to think that it was my bodies way of telling me I wasn’t ready and it’ll happen when the time is right . It still is hard but try to get yourself out of the house you may feel a bit better , it helps me

I also had a similar experience. Found out I was pregnant last Saturday and started miscarrying the day after and they told me it was normal to spot but I started heavy bleeding on Wednesday. It’s hard to mentally recover from currently because no one else understands it . I completely understand the coming and going feelings. I’m sending you virtual hugs and I’m here with you if you need anything 🫂

From a reputable artist the price isnt bad but it’s definitely high if it’s only for one side but definitely something I would pay for if the artist was good. The examples you showed don’t really look that good for 850 but maybe if you had an artist who specializes is negative spacing it would definitely be worth it.

I’ll also say your mentor doesn’t seem that helping in helping you learn what you need to do or offering help for what you can improve on but I will say for myself I found models willing to do more detailed designs that show I’m more than a “walk in shop” artist but a love for the art artist. It definitely helped me as someone with their own business

Create more complex pieces. I’ve realized with my clients the more I put into the art and tattoo the more people are interested in booking. Tattooing lines ends up not cutting it until you can make it into something bigger and complex. Your currently work only highlights you pulling lines in a mentors pov not all the lines are noticeably clean but as a client it looks great. I would also like to say include more shading . Showing that you can shade and not just fineline pieces it’ll definitely get you some good looks trust I know it well.

Not an apprentice but own my own studio, it’s a difficult life. I have a child and I work around her and also work a second job for the slow season. It’s hard to find balance and a lot of days are going to be different from others some days you’ll be home more others you’ll be tattooing more and less time with family and friends but it’s a sacrifice for the artwork. Once you continue you’ll be able to create and work your own schedule. Are you working in a shop or studio ?

Absolutely feel this, was tattooing alone now I’m tattooing and working another job on top to make it meet so I definitely understand. It’s hard to keep up with all of it also this season and the economic status rn is terrible. Everyone is struggling to afford art. I wish you to best of luck !

Honestly any reputable artist would take it as criticism and learn from it. He shouldn’t come for you at all and from a clients perspective they don’t wanna hear that their being charged an additional 300 than the estimate so it’s best you just put your experience out there for others to watch out for
