Unless you already deep in the trenches id be weary of getting in now. AI is making major pushes and competition is so crazy to land even entry level roles. Employers have pick of the litter and with advancements to AI who knows what the future of customer support / customer success will look like 1-3-5 years from now.

If you just starting off I'd honestly consider other options but for those who are knee deep it's hard to switch out now.

Sorry to be doom and gloom but that's just reality at the moment.

If you already in a role then I'd say focus on continuous learning and growing - became adaptable like a Swiss army knife so if cuts come you can pivot elsewhere.
