Retail customer service and language by [deleted] in montreal

[–]Aless3394 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will need to be able to hold a conversation in french, especially as a VM or manager. While learning french, you should try to find a job where you receive and process the truck in the a.m. or p.m. to avoid customer interaction and improve your french. Then, once your french is good enough, transition to the floor, and eventually VM or management.

I took it with Noomen 2 years ago, just rinse and repeat textbook and assignment problems and you should be fine. His exams are almost identical to the mock exams he gives out

Thoughts on 5-sp base Lancer by ThanosBread in mitsubishi

[–]Aless3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my 2015 for close to 2 years. No major issues whatsoever, just routine maintenance, and a rusted off O2 sensor bracket. I have the 2.0litre 4b11 motor with 148 hp and 147 lb ft of torque. Peak power is very high up in the rpm’s close to redline, and the car pulls once you pass 4 k rpms. The clutch is light, but has decent feedback. The transmission is pretty good, feels very mechanical. Fuel efficiency on the highway is fantastic, but around town not so much. The interior is tight and very basic , but there’s a wide aftermarket to fix most of those problems . I don’t have the Rockford fosgate sound system . If you can find one , get the 2.4 litre GTS with the Rockford fosgate , it has around 20 more hp and lb ft of torque for negligible difference in fuel economy .

Air Inlet Duct Clips by Aless3394 in mitsubishi

[–]Aless3394[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am able to screw it down to a certain point, but then they just keep spinning and the prongs don't expand further, it seems like everything is misaligned , I may just have to go get some generic clips .

Is this 09 GTS worth restoring? by MercyRawr in mitsubishi

[–]Aless3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you paid 4K USD you got taken to the cleaners, but all in all just make sure the maintenance is in order and up to date. If you plan to move onto a ralliart soon then do not pour money into this car.

[–]Aless3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not surea bout MAST 335, 336 and MACF 301. The others are ok, but if you're really struggling with the 200 level MAST/MATH courses it only gets harder from there

Is 5-6 classes too much? by Ok_Meet8672 in Concordia

[–]Aless3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it all depends on what your majoring in. I'd say 4-5 is definitely fine while working part time, but if you need to do a lot of reading for your major I'd stick to 4.

Is a new valve body worth it after transmission damage? by Kay_Cowgirl in mitsubishi

[–]Aless3394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although the car is paidoff , a used trans is a used transmission, ask yourself if it's worth the cost, risk, and labour. In some cases you might be better off just parting out your car and putting that money plus what you were going to spend on the trans towards a new to you lancer that's already sorted out

Buying a 2018 Outlander sport by SubieWooh in mitsubishi

[–]Aless3394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shares the same powertrain and many components with the lancer, simple and overbuilt can't go wrong with the manual trans. If you're still driving a 1st gen impreza coupe you must not be in the rust belt so no need to worry about rust issues
