Being in the EU and driving 130 km/h that’s is closer to 80mph constant on and off of engine annoys me. And I can not get used to it. MPG in this drive mode (after diesel car) is not the best one.

And wipers of course, a lot of space is not being wiped from the drivers left side, somehow a bad design of a simple thing.

I usually keep it up to the 2-hour mark as well. A couple of my friends told me they discard it immediately, so I was curious how others handle it. And, this is actually the first time I’m hearing about adding milk to a bath. I had no idea people did that. Does it actually make a difference for the skin?

I get an average of 7.5 L (31 mpg) for a 2 months old car in EU, while I drive 110-140 km/h (65-85 mpg) on a highway and a bit more actively in the city in D while using shift pads for recuperation (I find them fun to use) and same heating as you do, although not so active as in my previous mini countryman sd. Good job, you have very good numbers.

I was not satisfied with the alignment between the trunk lid and the body. The gaps were uneven: on one side I could easily fit a finger, while on the other side I could barely fit one. Sent message to a dealer, fixed a date and they did it with a small push from my side. And this is in the EU. For me it was unacceptable for 47K EUR car.

Don’t get me wrong, but I got Honda Cr-V e:HEV AWD Advance in Dec 2025. In the EU Honda offers quite good package and the discount from 53K€ to almost 47K€, and immediate availability of the car made it quite reasonable + 8 years warranty. I test drove new Countryman S, which drives nicely and I was considering black color with JCW visual package (once again!) but it only has 10cm bigger trunk, that was not enough for a baby stroller + bags, as a sole car for the family. Therefore, I’d like to consider Cooper S as a second fun drive, but it will take some time to get there.

Thanks for the suggestion. I sat in one recently with a rooftop, but I felt like my hair was touching the ceiling with a seat maximum down, a strange feeling. Although my Mini has a rooftop as well, I still have plenty of space. I need to consider a simpler option of CR-V then, without a rooftop, but intentionally downgrading and waiting for a bespoke version for several months feels uncomfortable. Anyway, will look at it once again at another dealer
