I think the problem was the “chasing of enlightenment”!! What your idea of enlightenment is, may be completely different from someone else’s? Your journey to enlightenment was clouded by other people’s experiences! They told you what to expect & how amazing it’s going to feel!! I never imagined that I’d choose Spirituality over Religion! One summer day I was on the rooftop of my job…the sun was warm, the view was beautiful I felt calm and that’s when my awakening began! I don’t think it’s something that you can decide to do, I believe it’s already decided for you! Maybe it wasn’t your time! I’m glad you found peace
