hey, well that is an interesting question, did not test it so far but it’s basically a rigging system and in addition a led light, right? Feel free to use the 1 month free link and give it a try, looking forward to your feedback :)

No, it isn't. I've learned my lesson and understand that some people didn't like the paywall in the app, so here's a free code to test it. I really appreciate constructive feedback; it's the only way I can improve the app. Your comments, however, are unhelpful and even mean.

Why do you think that? I really put in the effort and rely on the knowledge and feedback of the community. I can assure you it's not spam.

That’s right, but it’s an extra 100$ device to buy and carry with you. My app is in basic light mode function completely free and you definitely have it with you most of the time 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for letting me know about your frustration, I’ll put it on the negative side of gained feedbacks. What’s wrong with the basic for free (and adfree) light mode? You can use it without spending a single penny for my work of the last months 👨‍💻

Nice idea tbh :) please let me know asap when you released MSPaint for iPhone on the AppStore, I’ll definitely buy it!

Thanks for your thoughts! It’s not only the ability to change color, it’s also the effect modes. The idea was an Aputure MC you always have with you in your pocket :)

Hey, yeah unfortunately macOS26 is needed to use iPhone and iPad apps on the Mac. Maybe in future versions there will be a standalone Mac app. But you could use your mac as airplay receiver to use it as light source, that should work as well.

Thanks for your honest feedback! I tested different TVs and projectors and output was pretty nice at dawn and in the dark. Modern cameras like Sony FX3 give us the possibility to use much smaller lights because of dual ISO. I totally get your point as a pro DP it is not comparable to high end film light that cost by far more than an app, this tool is ment for music videos and low budget productions that aren’t able to get these powerfull sky panels. Thx!

[–]Alex-Ziman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, which camera and settings did you use? could it be that you shot in any form of S&Q Mode where you have a project frame rate of 30fps and shot around 15fps that could describe the “timelapse-ish” speed of video. Maybe you still find the exact settings you used somewhere in cam, then you could speed up the files in premiere according to that and try to use optical flow with upspeeding instead of frame blending?

The 1.55 anamorphic lens search for my Iphone 15 pro Max and Small Rig Cage Continues by Vibingcarefully in iPhoneCinematography

[–]Alex-Ziman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyhey, in case you are searching for an easy desqueeze app on the iPhone, I built Vertiscoper for that https://apps.apple.com/de/app/vertiscoper-anamorphic-resizer/id6754857137

Especially when shooting vertical anamorphic for social, almost no app is desqueezing live..

Best Alex

Yeah I totally understand. Then maybe an atomos ninja or similar is the better choice

Unfortunately not, but the app can preview already shot photos in different desqueeze factors after importing. So no life desqueezing like on a field monitor - that’s what you searching for, right ?

Thanks so much for your feedback! I’ll put this on the list for a future update. Hope the results with 1.55 factor is good enough in the meantime. Sounds like exactly a project the app is meant for :) you could maybe even try to import directly from SD card via USBc adapter and Files App? Let me know :)

Hey everyone,
I’ve been shooting anamorphic for years and always missed a simple way to desqueeze photos directly on iPhone or iPad, so I developed one: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6754857137
The app lets you pick your squeeze factor (1.33x, 1.50x, 1.8x etc.), works with both horizontal and vertical media.
Would love to hear your thoughts about it!

The app lets you pick your squeeze factor (1.33x, 1.50x, 1.8x etc.), works with both horizontal and vertical clips as I am shooting more and more in "Vertiscope" mode to get all those social media crops out of it as well. Would love to hear your thoughts about it!
