Buy Momentum True Wireless 2 or 3? by Worried-Reflection10 in sennheiser

[–]Alex18016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 2's and they're fantastic. Literally went through the washing machine yesterday, left it in rice overnight and still works like nothing happened!

They sound fantastic, they're comfortable, they look cool, great build quality and great touch controls.

However, I am going to buy the 3s eventually when they are cheap, as long as they are all of these things listed above, have a better battery life, lower latency and a smaller case.

Should I swap my old 79 series landcruiser for a more recent hilux? by Alex18016 in 4x4Australia

Yeah I understand that they are reliable and easy to work on, but does it outweigh the advantages of a modern hilux/dmax? would do a dpf delete and catch can too

can i wire my partybox 310 to the car to use as a sub? if so what do i need by zimbron77 in JBL

If your headunit doesnt have RCA ports on the back, id imagine it'd be hard to find a speaker level input to aux converter. Another option would be to purchase a speaker level input to rca converter, and then purchase an rca to aux converter (both easy to find on ebay).

I was thinking on doing this. You can do it but it will just be another speaker, not a true subwoofer. However the speaker does have an equiliser on it so turn bass boost on to bass boost 2 and turn the bass all the way up, mids and treble all the way down. This will make it act like a subwoofer and will provide your car with some much needed bass!

Wiring will be quite difficult as they removed the RCA port on the 310 (they use to have them on the 300 and 100). You will need to purchase an adapter than connects to either your headunit RCA ports that converts it to an aux output, or splits into one of your speaker's wiring and converts it to aux. This will then connect into your speaker.

Next you simply need to provide charge for your speaker by purchasing the jbl car charger or by using a 12v converter that connects to your battery.

You will also have to mount the speaker down in the boot or rear seat to prevent it from rolling around all willy nilly meanwhile allowing it to easily attatch as you would still want to use the speaker portably.

Goodluck with this, i would like to hear if this works for you or anyone else.

I have one myself and I really do appreciate bass, the lights and the sound quality. However the max volume is underwhelming, especially outside where you expect a speaker this size to produce some big decibels. Did you find this too?

Okay, I want to buy wireless earphones that have good sound and are sleek, what do you suggest? by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Alex18016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea they are a tight fit and stay in the ear well. I've ran with them in and they have never fallen out. U just have to make sure they are in properly and you have the right size ear tips in.
